Our Furry Friends Training

We recently did a board and train session for our 1 1/2 year old VERY energetic and VERY untrained golden retriever that was causing complete chaos in our home and with our other pets. We weren’t too sure what to expect, but after doing an initial intake and a private lesson with Cherie we felt confident that this was going to be the best way into giving us a jump start into getting things back on track - and we were right! Although we missed our pup immensely for the two weeks she was gone, she came back home with impulse control like we couldn’t believe, a new respect for authority, the ability to follow basic commands, and an eagerness to keep practicing and learning more. She is more confident, more relaxed, and overall a much happier dog since coming back home. She has always been a sweet girl but the way we were “training” her prior to Cherie’s help was only making issues worse, and with some training for our dog (and us!) we are all on a much better path. We are so very thankful for all the help during the board and train and the follow up lessons that came with our package have really helped us all stick to things she was taught. She got to be treated like family at Cherie’s house and mingle with her dogs and even got to go participate in lessons at the training center - plus that meant she was working on her traveling skills, too! Thank you, Cherie, for bringing out the best in our girl and restoring peace to our home. We are thrilled with how much she was able to accomplish in such a short amount of time with you.

What a wonderful experience! We have a young Golden Retriever who was scared, anxious, avoidant of people outside our home, and not living her best life. We felt stuck on how to help her. Thankfully we found Cherie! With her knowledge and understanding she was able to help us give Rosie the confidence she needed to fully come alive! It's safe to say the Rosie we love at home the world would get to love because of what Cherie helped us learn and how lead Rosie. I will say Dog training is really human training, so get ready to also do the work! If you want to help your dog with behavior issues or obedience Cherie is who to call. We are thankful to know we have someone that can help us. This is just the beginning, we learned so much and look forward to continue our journey. Rosie's future just got brighter and bigger.
