Optimum Level Canine Services

I took my 3 month old GSP to Optimum Level Canine Services for a 2 week board and train. I highly recommend this for everyone! I was very nervous about leaving him for two weeks but Colin made the whole experience great. He explained what would happen and the care the pup would get. He sent photos and videos daily to keep me informed of his progress. I was amazed how quickly he progressed! Colin also worked to educate me and give me the skills and confidence to work with my pup at home. Our journey with Colin is not over as I fully intend to continue training with him! Thank you Colin!!

We are beyond grateful for your expertise with our Rottweilers training. His attention to detail and demeanor has dramatically improved with us and others. We can now enjoy our outings with him and be confident of our ability to handle him in any given circumstance. Throughout the month of May, my German Shepard, Diesel (14 months at this time) spent a month of board and training with Collin. I can not tell you how much Collin changed the quality of life that my husband and I have with Diesel. When Diesel started, he was VERY reactive to people and other animals. His obedience was okay, but ONLY when there was no one else around and NO distractions. It was the reactivity that really become the issue. It was becoming hard to have people over our house, and for everyone to be comfortable (including Diesel). Collin not only worked with Diesel for a month, but he encouraged us to come to trainings throughout the month with Diesel so that when we took Diesel home, we could continue to train him and know exactly how to get the same results that Collin would get with Diesel. I DID NOT see any other board and trainings out there that offered this. This was a HUGE PLUS. Collin was ALWAYS flexible, communicative, and accommodating! AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, I knew that Diesel was safe and being taken care of. He was a stern trainer in all the right ways, but was always looking out for Diesels well being. I was also able to meet Chris, another amazing trainer with Optimum Level Canine, during Diesels training who was very helpful and informative! Now that Diesel is home, his obedience is remarkable, and his reactivity is FINALLY manageable. Everyone who has been reintroduced to Diesel has said that he is a "different dog" (EVEN the vet lol!). He is STILL a German Shepard, and he wants to protect his family, but Collin was able to teach us how to have Diesel trust and respond to us when meeting new people and being around other animals. We know what to expect out of Diesel, and he NOW knows what to expect from us in these unfamiliar situations. (lol You-tube can not teach you this trick!) I would highly recommend dog training with Optimum Level Canine Services! Thank you Collin for EVERYTHING! You have been so truly amazing to our family!

Colin has completely transformed our pup! Time and time again, he proved to be knowledgeable, patient, and understanding with both our dog and us as owners. It’s clear from the start that he’s passionate for what he does, and as a result our dog’s obedience and openness to learn new things has dramatically improved. He doesn’t just teach your pet new tricks and how to behave, he teaches YOU the necessary yet straightforward tools to continue training your dog beyond basic obedience. I highly, highly, highly recommend Optimum Level to any person that has a dog!
