About Operation At Ease, Inc.
Operation At Ease takes dogs from shelters, pairs them with deserving veterans and first responders and provides a free guided training program for post traumatic stress and light mobility service dogs. Obedience skills and task training are held in small group classes of two to four teams to ensure optimal learning through one on one instruction. We also work throughout the Capital District making sure our teams know the proper way to utilize the tasks taught in real life situations; as well as have the confidence, knowledge and ability to advocate for themselves when needed. Classes are held at our training facility in Rotterdam, NY

I can’t say anything but great things about this establishment. The team is absolutely amazing and goes above and beyond to help with absolutely everything. Makenzie has been our trainer since the beginning and she goes out of her way to give suggestions feedback and different ways to try things.When we first started with Makenzie peanut was very timid and shy was scared of any little thing or noise almost a year later peanut is almost a fully trained service dog. I don’t think we could’ve gotten to this point without Makenzie and her patience if you’re looking to get training done this is the place you need to go. The people are absolutely amazing and they generally love what they do.

Joni and her amazing team are nothing short of transformative! They provide essential support that is vital for these brave individuals and their families. Not only are they saving lives, but they are also helping to write new, hopeful chapters for many. If you or someone you know is in need of support, I can't recommend Operation At Ease enough! Joni and her team at OAE really go above and beyond to support everyone going through their program. Joni excels at balancing meeting you where you're at/your individual needs while also encouraging you to grow and reach your potential. The entire team at OAE is incredibly community focused, and having this organization in our area is such an asset.
We had the absolute best experience with Jessica. She helped train our puppy Appa and taught us so much! She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and was so patient with our puppy. We loved every class! She provided us with activities and tips to try at home to ensure carryover. We did two different classes. We are so thankful!
