FirstBarkI have now sent two dogs to Alex for duck dog training and this young puppy she just finished with is very impressive. Her first season as a one year old she picked up a couple hundred birds guiding customers. Not a better dog trainer out there

Grant and Alex Huff have a combined 35 years experience training dogs to an advanced level for AKC hunt tests, duck hunting, and obedience. They both grew up in East Texas with a love for duck hunting and dogs, which eventually led them to a career working with dogs of all breeds. They love seeing dogs reach their full potential and bridging the knowledge gap between clients and their pets. One shot retrievers is very reliable. Me and my dad have both gotten dogs trained here and have loved the results.
Grant and Alex are great! After 6 weeks, Wendy was like a new dog... even at 6 years old. She seems more confident and excited to listen 😂 Highly recommend One Shot!
Alex & Grant did an awesome job with our beagle! We would joke with our family that we were expecting to pick up a different dog and that’s actually what we got in a good way. We wanted him to still be a beagle (hunting nature, using his nose 24/7, etc) but also listen to us. The commands they taught him have made all the difference in his behavior!

We decided our young lady really needed some real obedience training. She was a typical teenage type pup. Needless to say after 6 weeks we went and picked her up today and couldn’t be happier. We immediately saw a great improvement. She was much more obedient and still appeared very happy and energetic. We were given about a 1.5 hour class on the proper way to utilize the electronic collar and “Hands-on” training which was Very informative and through. We really liked the fact that we were constantly told if we had an issues or questions to just give them a quick email or text or call. Can’t recommend one-shot retriever enough. It is money very well spent. You won’t be disappointed .
