One Shot Retrievers

I normally do not do reviews, but Alex and Grant have earned and deserve a review. They are fantastic trainers but even better people! They put in the work and their training exceeded our expectations . The care and love they showed our dog is unexplainable. Alex and Grant not only trained the dog but also trained us. The way they communicated the steps in the gun dog program was easily understandable and so beneficial. Every dog we own will go to Alex and Grant at OSR!

Gracie Mae is the best dog since spending a few weeks at One Shot Retrievers! She minds so much better. I walk her. She does not walk me 🐾 No more jumping on the kitchen counter. Grant and Alex are amazing 🤩 The kennels are spotless and the dogs love having the acreage to run. They are so proud of themselves when they ‘graduate’ and go home to show you what they learned 🐶 Call them today while there is still room!

Grant and Alex Huff of One Shot Retrievers did an amazing job training our Labrador Hudson. When he arrived at their training facility, he was a bit of a “wild child” but after working with him starting with basic obedience, he is a well training and disciplined dog and a pleasure to be around. Grant was able to get him to a level of doing blind and water retrieves. In addition, we felt comfortable leaving him once we viewed their excellent kennel and training facility. I would highly recommend Grant and Alex Huff of One Shot Retrievers.

My one year old lab-basset hound was in need of obedience training but I was hesitant to send her for six weeks with someone I didn’t know. I heard about OSR through a friend and took a chance. When I picked up Laney from training, she was the same lovable dog but now she actually minds me! I can’t say enough good things about Grant and Alex. They treat each dog like it is their own and are the best obedience and gun dog trainers in the state. I will continue to send every dog I own to OSR.
