Grant and Alex Huff have a combined 35 years experience training dogs to an advanced level for AKC hunt tests, duck hunting, and obedience. They both grew up in East Texas with a love for duck hunting and dogs, which eventually led them to a career working with dogs of all breeds. They love seeing dogs reach their full potential and bridging the knowledge gap between clients and their pets. Unlike many trainers, Grant and Alex do all of the training themselves, from start to finish. This ensures each dog is getting the most out of their time at One Shot Retrievers. We enrolled our wild and crazy 6 month old Golden retriever in the obedience training program at One Shot Retriever (6 weeks). I honestly wasn't confident anything would help our crazy girl. We were pleasantly surprised by the behavior change in Maple after going through their 6 week program. She no longer bolts out the door, we can get her in the car in a very calm manner and most importantly she is no longer jumping on kids and knocking them down. She is still her sweet self, but we are able to now control her in public situation that before, we would just have to avoid taking her a lot of places. One shot retriever was professional, SUPER clean, nice facilities and very knowledgeable. I would recommend their 6 week obedience program to anyone. It truly has changed our household for the better. Thank you one shot retriever for helping us with our Maple girl!!

One Shot Retrievers! What can I say? Alex promised a different pup, and man did she deliver! Our Black Lab, Jack, is 7 months old but now responds and reacts as a mature dog. It is evident the time and attention given to our dog. Highly recommend OSR!
