On Holladay Dog Training & Boarding

We have never trusted someone more than Trey and Carly to watch and board our dog, Hank. We knew he would be loved like their own. Even though we adore Hank, it was so nice to go away and not have to give any thought or worry about him as we knew he was in good hands! In fact, each time, I was more worried he wouldn’t want to come back with us as we knew he enjoyed his stay so much! Also, another plus was he always came back a little more well behaved being he had proper dog trainers watching him. He loves his “babysitters” and always wags his tail a little extra when he hears that word. We could not recommend Trey and Carly enough!!

If you’re looking for the best dog trainers or ones to look after your fur baby, look no further. When working with Trey & Carly on how to train Theo (golden shepherd) and Snoopy (husky shepherd) to be obedient, we were incredibly shocked with just one session of training. It’s like we had been given two different dogs. We felt like the parents that were constantly having to correct their dogs, and didn’t really know how to control them. & with two big dogs, that couldn’t continue. But with the guidance of Holladay Training, we were taught exactly how to control every situation, and our favorite - recall. We never thought that would be so, especially with the husky. However, we can now completely walk both dogs off leash, and it doesn’t matter if distractions are around. During the training sessions, we did a mix of commands, with distractions (and lots of treats!) but the communication was so clear. We knew what we should be expecting from our pups, and then they knew what was to be expected- which just made them love us that much more! These two really have the best interest of your loved fur babies & we would trust them time and time again. They really do treat your pup as if it’s their own. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Trey and his wife, Carly, are more than dog trainers, they are angels. Our golden retriever, Grits, is my family’s pride and joy now, but when he was a puppy he had us all in tears. Trey and Carly trained and took such good care of him when I was at my wits end. Grits is now the gentlest, most well behaved dog, and people compliment him all the time…I just can’t take the credit! We are so lucky to have found the Holladay’s for Grits and what a gift they gave us in return. You could not find anyone more qualified, trustworthy, or fun to work with. What a blessing for all dogs and their people!
