On-Command Canine Training, Doggy Daycare & Boarding

We had two in-home visits for our 13 week old Springer Spaniel pup. He was having snapping issues when he got excited. Alex came to our house and gave us several training tools to use that have made an almost immediate improvement. She also showed us some methods of other behavioral training that we are using with good results. I’m considering the group puppy sessions soon. I heartily recommend On-Command and Alex in particular.

From the moment my husband and I walked in to On-Command canine training we were greeted and treated professionally. We were introduced to Kelly, who would be our dog trainer. She was very encouraging and nurturing and assured us that Goose would be trained by her with loving care. While Goose was at training, we received report cards and pictures detailing what he had learned, excursions he had taken and the fun he had with other dogs. When we picked Goose up, Kelly spent a long and patient time going over all that she had trained Goose to do and how we could continue the training ourselves. Goose is a now a controllable puppy. Our 5.5 month old German Shepherd, Ozzy, just completed a two week Board and Train. We had a wonderful experience with Kelly. She took the time to get to know Ozzy in one of our private sessions. We shared concerns about some behaviors and his pulling/reactivity on the leash. Upon finishing his Board and Train, he walks beautifully on the leash and we can now enjoy taking him for walks! Kelly is very kind, patient and knowledgeable. She sent us updates and pictures/videos every couple days about his progress. Kelly helped us to understand how to keep up with his progress at home.
