I first dealt with this kennel 10 and a half years ago. I purchased from them the most beautiful gentle yet protective german Shepard I have ever had and I have always owned Akc Shepards but this one was an above average dog. I just lost my love a few weeks ago and my husky as well as my self are empty so I reached out again to them again they are kind caring and knowledgeable. I am presently waiting for a pup from Germany that they have dealt with this breeder before. They are going to let me meet this new pup and depending on our meeting I can choose this one or I can wait for another. They understand how important it is to be able to see if an owner and pup have that magical bond

We had adopted a 4th beagle June of 2019 and two weeks after we had him he started being aggressive with my puppy who was 7 months at the time. I used 4 trainers before finally contacting Olympia kennels thanks to a friend who had great success with their boxer. Heather talked to me on the phone to get to know our situation better and helped me thru how to manage my dog in between the time we had to wait for Mikey to come to our house. When he came he spent about an hour listening to our story and getting to know our dogs. He knew instantly what we had to do to create harmony in our home again. He is so knowledgeable and patient and always answered my emails when I had questions and came back a few times to help me. After working with Mikey for 4 months I finally saw the results I wanted. And now 6 months later from the first time I talked with Olympia kennels my dogs are all getting along amazing and we have a happy pack of beagles. I can’t emphasize enough how important is it to get a dog that matches what your family needs. In our case, we wanted a protection dog who was also a great family dog (not hyper active!) and who could get along with our other male dogs. Mike picked the perfect dog, a champion shepherd who is mellow in the house (not a crazy/restless dog) and loves our other dogs and our kids, but is already a champion at protection at his young age (16 months) with more training to go. We listened to Mike and Gina’s suggestion to get our dog at 1 year of age while he was still young so he wouldn’t dominate our other male dogs – brilliant! Now they are all best friends and we have no dominance issues even with 4 intact males. The best part of this process was Mike and Gina’s advice and Mike and Anes’ training. Anes invested months of training before we got the dog and it showed. Argos came trained and well mannered. If you want a protection dog, you may want to consider getting a fully trained dog as they are world class trainers and the dog will be fully trained upon arrival. Anes came to our house to deliver the dog and spent 5 hours with us, first introducing Argos to EACH of our dogs, on leash, one at a time to monitor them. He brought everything we needed with him from collars to leashes to food and special protein powder and showed us step by step how to use everything. Most importantly, he walked us through Argos’ training regime and how to keep him sharp through a few minutes a day of training. We bought the level 3 package so our dog has lots of training left. We had an amazing follow up second session with Anes this week at our house to work on protection (Argos is an all-star!) and more advanced obedience including foot choreographed sit and down stays among other things. Anes is the best trainer – I’d almost say dog whisperer. Trust me, the dog is trained already – it’s the owners who need to learn what the dog can DO and how to be consistent and work with your dog to keep him sharp. Mike, Gina or Anes are quick on email or phone to answer any questions and provide advice if you need information. Though we’ve had many dogs, this one is special. He’s SO SMART – I think he could do our taxes if we put a pen in his paw. He’s also super gentle and well-mannered around guests, kids, our dogs and anyone he meets. He is so striking and beautiful that he turns heads wherever we take him. These dogs are champions. No hair triggers. Honestly our golden retrievers are more aggressive in terms of jumping on guests to say hi. Argos just sits by your side and waits for a command.
