Olympia Kennels

If you are reading this review, that means you are considering either purchasing a dog and/or boarding your dog at Olympia Kennels and let this be your sign to go for it!! I have both boarded a dog and also purchased a puppy from Olympia Kennels and will not go anywhere else. The service here is top notch. Mike, the owner, is such an incredible person. I ended up in a situation unexpectedly where I was unable to care for my dog for an unknown amount of time. I called Mike and explained my situation and asked if he had availability to board my dog for an extended amount of time and he did not hesitate to accommodate me. Not only did he board him on such short notice (for an unknown amount of time mind you) but he and his staff also spent time training him and went above and beyond to provide him with stimulation and structure. When I was able to pick him up, it was like I had a completely different dog (in the best way!!). When I dropped my Doberman off, he was still just very rambunctious and still very much had a mind of his own (he was quite stubborn and very difficult to train on my own!) and when I picked him up, he was so calm and listens so well! I know he was very well cared for not just by how well he was trained and listens, but how he acts when we go back! He loves seeing everyone at Olympia. Serina and Ashley spent a lot of time training him and they too always look so forward to seeing him when he goes back. They are such sweet girls, all of the trainers there are so kind and really excel at what they do. I just recently purchased a German Shepard puppy from Mike and am actively bringing her in for training and, same thing - she gets SO excited to go back to see everyone there. It is so well worth the money. I am so grateful for everything they have done, my only regret was not calling them sooner!

I cannot say enough positive things about Mike's kennel. The German Shepherd puppy we got from them is a majestic animal--people literally stop their cars in front of us to tell us what a beautiful dog he is. His personality is calm, alert, highly intelligent, and protective. Whenever we go away we bring him back to the kennel for boarding and retraining, and he always leaves calm and happy. This is a serious, quality operation working with dogs of great background and temperament. 100% recommend.
