Loren was incredible! My biggest fear was feeling like my babies weren’t going to get any affection & it would be all work no play. Especially with my gentle giant Dolce. However that was not the case. He had two of our littermate pups. He reassured us with the daily video updates & his constant communication that everything was okay & that he cares for the pups as if they’re his own. Watching them grow daily felt so rewarding. I thought I was going to be a nervous wreck the whole time they were gone but since day 1 my mind was at ease. Once it was pick up day, Loren was so patient in teaching us how to go home & continue their training. He made sure we understood before moving on to the next command. The biggest thing to highlight is the level of care Loren shows. For our babies & our future as a family. He also made us feel safe knowing he was there looking after them. Loren will forever be apart of our family now. Thank you so much off leash for having such a great trainer at your facility. We would recommend him over & over again 100/10.

Loren is extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and caring with our puppy, Luca. From the very beginning, he explained the training process in detail and provided us with helpful tips and tricks to prepare Luca beforehand. He always took the time to answer our questions and made sure we felt comfortable with each step. Throughout the training, Loren gave us daily video updates and even shared Luca’s weight, which gave us peace of mind about both his health and his progress. The consistent communication really showed how much he cares about the dogs and their families. The results have been outstanding. Luca returned to us as a more disciplined and well-behaved dog, yet he still has his playful personality and enjoys being a puppy. Loren found the perfect balance between structure and fun, and it has made a huge difference in Luca’s behavior and in our confidence as dog owners. We highly recommend Loren and the facility to anyone looking for professional and caring training. The experience exceeded our expectations, and we are grateful for the positive impact it has had on Luca.

My 1 year old Doberman just competed the 2 week board and train on-leash program with Loren as her trainer. I am amazed by his work and how he was able to instill confidence in my pup. Loren made this extremely easy for me to understand and kept me updated every single day with progress reports and videos. I got to see her as she progressed daily. Loren knows exactly what he is doing. The day I brought my dog home I took her out on a walk and she stayed in the heel position the entire time with no leash pulling. Something I never was able to do with her prior. The price is definitely worth it as I am able to bring my dog back for refreshers for her entire life!! I am definitely going to be recommending OLK9 Hawaii and Loren to anyone that may ask me about dog training. I would give 10 stars!

Since we live Downtown, near busy streets, and lots of distractions, we thought it would be important for our pup, Kekai to learn some impulse control. Whenever he saw a Skateboard, moped, bike, or other dogs, he would bark like crazy and pull on his leash to chase it. Sometimes running towards the busy street. He is a Min Pin with lots of energy and can get a little too rowdy at times. Once he is in that mode, it’s hard to reel him back in. We’ve tried training him ourselves, but we weren’t getting the results we needed to keep him safe in the hustle and bustle of downtown. Thanks to Loren’s training and guidance. We can confidently take Kekai on walks, and not worry about him running into traffic, or chasing people/other dogs.

I usually don’t write reviews, but this one feels necessary. Loren is a dog trainer who truly gets it! When we dropped Rolo (toy poodle) off he was sweet but stubborn and thought commands were optional. Fast forward two weeks & Rolo is not only still sweet but has confidence, wants to please & listens to commands. The real magic though is how much time Loren spent teaching our family how to work, praise & play with Rolo. OLK9’s approach is kind, clear, and effective. Combined with Loren’s trust, communication & consistency makes for a winning team! They’re not just training dogs, they’re changing lives!!! Thank you!
