OLK9 HAWAII

This was our second go-round with Off Leash K9. We had fantastic results with our previous dog, so we jumped right in to getting our new pup, Azuki, enrolled. Because Azuki was (is) very young, and new to us, we opted for the 8-time Basic/Advanced course, rather than the board-and-train option. Loren did a fantastic job with the puppy, and with us. Azuki now has a great foundation to build on going forward. I recommend these guys without reservations whatsoever!

Loren at Off-Leash K9 Training was excellent at providing daily updates and videos and was very responsive to us. He and his girlfriend seemed to genuinely love Kale our puppy! He cared about what we wanted to accomplish with our dog and tailored her training to meet our goals. He gave us great instructions on continuing to implement her training at home and was helpful in assisting us as we brought her over from Kona on the Big Island. Very nice guy, we would recommend him and Off-Leash to anyone who wants a very GOOD Dog! Mahalo! Mimi and Andrew

I can’t say enough good things about Crystal! Training a blind Cane Corso comes with some unique challenges, but Crystal was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and understanding of our dog’s individual needs. She took the time to build trust, confidence, and communication while always treating our dog with kindness and respect. The progress we’ve seen has been amazing, and we feel so much more confident handling and communicating with our dog. I’m truly grateful for Crystal’s dedication and expertise. If you’re looking for a trainer who genuinely cares about dogs and knows how to bring out the best in them, I highly recommend! 🐾❤️

I can’t say enough good things about Sherry and the care she gave my boy Bruno! Bruno is a 2 y/o shelter rescue who has adjusted really well since coming home with me a year ago, but let’s just say… he is NUTS 😂 I always joke that if he were a human, he’d be a little silver-tooth kid who is always up to something. He struggles with confidence, attachment, and isn’t always the kindest toward other animals. After an unexpected incident at our building, Bruno needed to board and train immediately, and Sherry was so kind, understanding, and took him in right away. From the beginning, she was incredibly gentle and attentive with him. I mentioned that Bruno sometimes struggles to drink enough water and that coconut water always gets him to drink, and she went out and bought some for him immediately! She monitored his eating, drinking, and behavior and sent me daily photos and videos. He looked so happy in every single one, which made being away from him so much easier. During his stay, Bruno worked on leash walking, sit, place, stay, off, and building confidence and trust in his surroundings. I noticed a huge difference in the way he carried himself afterward. He was more confident and comfortable around people and his environment. He even learned to coexist with Sherry’s dog and cat, which was a HUGE accomplishment for him. Bruno did have to come home a little early due to some health issues that had nothing to do with his training (In true dramatic mama’s-boy fashion, being away for two weeks triggered some gland issues) . Sherry immediately called me, stopped his training, and even slept near him at night to make sure he was okay. Once he recovered, she also did a follow-up session with him and gave me plenty of tips to continue his training at home. I’m so proud of Bruno’s progress and so grateful for how well Sherry cared for him. She truly treated him like her own and cared about his well-being beyond just the training. If you have a rescue dog who needs patience, structure, and confidence-building, I highly recommend this place!

Loren at OLK9 is an AMAZING trainer. My dog Koa is a 10 month old Montain Cur who is has stubborn a stubborn attitude. He sent me daily updates on his progress which made me have a gigantic smile every time I watched his videos. I couldn’t believe how quickly Koa was progressing. Loren gave me excellent training on how to maintain all that he learned. OLK9 is the best decision I made for my dog training. I can’t thank Loren enough for all the hard work he put into training my baby.
