Olde Towne School For Dogs

I’ve been working with Saúl, my puppy’s trainer now, for just about 6 months and I have to say he is THE most thoughtful, professional, and kindest trainer I’ve worked with. My puppy has been in training since he was 4 months old across LA, Miami, and DC. Hands down, the Olde Towne School for Dogs is the best dog training facility we’ve been to. First of all, the staff is incredibly attentive, sweet, and loving of all dogs! Second, they really got to know my puppy’s personality, traits, and behaviors. They listened to my concerns and worked towards our dream interactions with our pup – the ability to let him off leash at the golf course whilst having a strong recall + being able to stay calm around other dogs on our walks. They aren’t just training your pup as well – they are helping you as a client to build the skills and confidence to properly guide your dog to their happiest (and most obedient) self. Being a client of theirs, their private lessons and off leash school are investments in your pup and yourself. You MUST be willing to dedicate time and effort as a dog owner. ♥️ I’m so happy to see how much my pup has grown and matured at OTSFD. Going to miss you all!

Our 4 year old greyhound Ellie just finished the basic training course after 6 private sessions with our trainer Saul and we couldn't be happier. Before training Ellie was nervous and difficult to walk on a leash. We were told elsewhere that greyhounds are notoriously hard to train, especially as adult dogs, but from the beginning Saul helped customize the standard lesson plan to work best for Ellie and the results are amazing. She's a happier, more confident pup, and we're more confident owners with her. We can take walks anywhere with her at our side, she'll stay (and lay down!) on command even in distracting or distressing situations, and even conquered her fear of stairs! The in person lessons she got and the homework we followed with her have given us a really strong foundation to continue building up her skills and confidence. We can't wait to come back and join the group walks the school offers to graduates.
