I hired Bryan to train a new rescue puppy. My puppy was 7 months old. He was so great with him and my 6 year old hound mix ended up joining in the fun! Both are now walking nicely on the leash and know basic obedience! Bryan went above and beyond by including my hound mix and had great advice for house breaking and general issues that come up with having a puppy. Would absolutely use again and recommend to anyone looking for a knowledgeable trainer!

I was ready to invite a new rescue dog into my heart and home, and fell in love with pit bulls. I adopted Savvy, a 3-year-old APBT/ST mix. Next, I discovered that I really needed some help training her to live well with us! She is SO rambunctious, energetic, and STRONG. Leash walking her was exhausting and frustrating for us both. Bryan to the rescue! He is truly the perfect trainer for us. To begin with, he was flexible and accommodating about when and where to work with us, be it our home or a local park. He was calm and took time to get to know Savvy and me, so that he could tailor our work. I was startled by the way Savvy was at once calm and attentive in response to his subtle interactions with her. I knew he would need to train me as well as my dog, and as a retired high school teacher I attest that he is an OUTSTANDING educator. He explains, illustrates with examples and analogies, and tirelessly repeats demonstrations as necessary. His great sense of humor springs from a rich understanding of the way dogs and people are, and he is focused on helping owners and pets acquire some of that understanding as well. I noticed that he has many approaches to each question and situation; if one idea does not fit or deliver, he is ready with an alternative. I now have a toolkit of methods to use with Savvy, not just a one-size-fits-all technique. All of these methods are gentle and positive, never reliying on harsh punishment or intimidation. Savvy is quite fond of him, too! Bryan has been available for questions large and small, and is just so compassionate and positive.
