Ohana K9 Academy - Dog Training, Boarding & Dog Daycare

1000/10 recommend! I enrolled my golden retriever, Gemma, at Ohana K9 for the 8 week puppy program and had the pleasure of working with our trainer, Kelsey. She was the BEST and poured so much love into our girl during those weeks of training. Gemma is now the most amazing puppy and sweetest family dog. So thankful! Also, Ohana has the greatest boarding program for any overnight needs. Their facility and all of the trainers have always taken excellent care of Gemma. A very fun and safe environment if you need your dog looked after!!

After careful research into local dog training, we chose Ohana K9 Academy and their 4-week day train package for our Aussie puppy, Pearl. That was truly the best decision we have ever made. If you are on the fence, don’t be. Go with Ohana. The staff and trainers are super welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and you can just tell that they love and respect animals and know what they are doing. We got to tour the facility and it is such an impressive operation. Pearl loved going to Ohana K9 Academy so much that she would leap out of the car to meet her trainer, Hailey, who was like family to her. Hailey took a very energetic and gently aloof puppy and gave her confidence and the tools she needed to be a wonderful member of dog society. We are just so wildly impressed with Hailey, Ohana, and how much Pearl loves their facility that we are beyond excited to continue our, and Pearl’s relationship with them through boarding and day care. Ohana is appropriately named, because they treated Pearl like family ❤️

There are so many great things I have to say about Ohana. Our two year old, Blu, needed to work on her confidence, socialization, separation anxiety, walking on a leash, recall, and redirection. She is a shepherd-collie mix, so we needed help, and that’s when we reached out to Ohana. From the very first phone call to our initial meeting, they were incredibly helpful. They helped us determine the plan that was best for Blu and set us up with Tobin (“TJ”). Tobin treated Blu like his own and was so patient with her! He is very knowledgeable and never made me feel like a burden if I had too many questions, whether it was a weekend or a Wednesday morning. I enjoyed our Friday sessions because I learned a lot, which allowed me to continue working with Blu over the weekend. Throughout the week, he would send daily videos of her progress, and it was incredibly reassuring to see how much she improved from week one to week six. Whether you’re a new dog parent with a puppy or looking to get help with your adult pup, Ohana can definitely help you! We are so grateful for Ohana K9 Training Academy! Our puppy Mabel just graduated from their 4-week puppy board and train, and the difference is incredible. She came home knowing several commands, sleeping peacefully in her crate every night, and all around behaving like such a well-mannered puppy. The crate piece alone felt like a miracle. Before Ohana, I had honestly given up after hours of crying and trying all the things the internet told me to do. Ohana not only helped Mabel, they taught us how to be better owners so we could keep the training and good behavior going at home. So much of what they taught us was new to me, and honestly, some of it was the direct opposite of what I had been told online. It made such a difference having real experts walk us through what Mabel actually needed. Huge thanks to the whole Ohana team for loving our girl so well, and especially to Isabella, our trainer. We could tell Mabel was cared for, understood, and set up for success. We are so thankful! PS - I know it's pricey, but it was worth every penny!

We had a great experience with Ohana K9 Academy. This was our first experience with board and training program and was a bit nervous about the process, but the staff and trainers are amazing on what they do. Jagger went in as a stubborn not food motivated, and un-socialized puppy. He was struggling a bit at the beginning because he was not food motivated to do the training, but Bo our trainer was patient with Jagger and he finally was able to participate on the training lessons. Each week we saw progression. We decided to add two more weeks because we thought he will benefit more. The last two weeks Louie our trainer was able to train Jagger and his confidence and commands improved even more. Now he is able to follow commands and walk on the leash without pulling at it. We have taken out in public and people have already complimented on Jaggers good behavior. I’m so proud of him and his accomplishments and we will continue with lessons at home and I can’t wait to see him continue to grow and build his confidence! Thank you to the Ohana staff!
