We went to off leash k9 for help with our dog reactive GSD. When I booked on the phone, the lady I spoke to recommended doing 4 classes instead of 8 because she said people often feel they don’t need more than 4. At the time I kind of thought she was crazy because I couldn’t understand how our dog would transform within just 4 lessons but I figured if 4 was too little we could always add more so we booked 4. At our 4th training session we didn’t even know what to do because our dog is doing so well. Kent at the Blaine location is great and we are so happy with the progress our dog has made. We still have a lot to work on but she has made a lot of progress & we feel so much more confident in how to handle the issues we were having. Cannot recommend enough!! Training was totally tailored to our dogs & our needs & has worked wonders.

The trainers at Off Leash K9 worked so well with our doodle! The training is personalized to fit our goals and the trainers have remained available to us even after training is over. We like them!

We just completed obedience training for our 1 year old golden doodle. Abie and Becca were excellent trainers. We noticed an immediate difference with our dog and regained peace in our household since we had strategies to deal with all of the nuisance behavior. We are now able to enjoy doing things with our dog like going on walks, taking her to local stores, and letting people in our house without getting jumped on or barked at. I highly recommend Off Leash k-9 and Abie and Becca specifically. We had another dog trained by off leash about 8 years ago by a different trainer with equally great results.

We had recently got a German Shepard pup and we were working on training ourselves. Well we really didn't know what we were doing. So we searched for some professional help. We came across K9 off leash training. We wanted a trainer that didn't use shock collars. We wanted our dog highly trained as he is a working dog. I was skeptical at first. Our dog would jump on people. mouth us all the time and couldn't walk around other dogs cuz he was reactive. He went to see Nicole in Detroit lakes area and we were so impressed with her skills. She sent us daily updates from our dog. She treated our dog as her family! He came back a highly trained dog and is so much happier, because he has more freedom and structure. He got to play with my kids and I in the backyard with out being in the fenced in area. It has been a game changer. We would HIGHLY recommend Nicole in Detroit lakes area!!!

I picked up my dog a week ago and the first week has been great! We had Kent as a trainer for my 1 year old golden retriever. Maisy is so much calmer it’s been wonderful. Going in a couple walks a day and following Kent’s advice has made my life easier. I highly recommend Kent he did a wonderful job. Maisy was missing Kent I could tell. Great experience, thank you so much.
