If I could give Justine more than 5 stars, I would! Before training, we were STRUGGLING with Winnie constant potty accidents, jumping, nipping, not listening, and all-around puppy chaos. I run an in-home daycare, so the jumping and nipping around little kids was especially stressful, and I was honestly starting to wonder how we were going to make it all work. Then came Justine, and the difference she has made in Winnie is INCREDIBLE. She didn’t just teach Winnie commands she took the time to understand her personality and behaviors while also teaching US how to communicate with her and continue her training at home. Justine is knowledgeable, patient, supportive, and genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. I never once felt like Winnie was “just another dog.” She loved our girl like she was her own, and the progress Winnie made absolutely blew us away. We got back a more confident, responsive, well-mannered puppy AND the tools we needed to be better owners. I truly could not have asked for a better trainer. Justine has been such a gift to us with the board and train she facilitated. Our pupster Rudy was born during covid and ended up having many behavioral patterns that we were so frustrated with and at loss to correct.(he had no formal training before Justine). We live in the city where houses are close together and Rudy barked so loudly every time someone walked on the sidewalk past, that it scared people. He also made it so neighbors were bothered by his loud barking and pulled so bad on a leash that i fell and hurt my knee, prior to training. The 4 week board & train gave us back a happier dog, who we now understand how to communicate with and correct, without raising our voices. We have peace in our home and we are so grateful to Justine and her wisdom in training and understanding our highly energetic and loving Rudy. Justine welcomes questions and she has much insight into animal behavior. Rudy is a changed animal, and no longer barks at people walking past or neighbors and now heels beautifully on a leash. Our lives are better because of the training from Justine!
