Off Leash K9 Training Tampa

SUCCESS RATE DEPENDS ON THE BREED APPARENTLY After providing my dog's breed and reactive behavior information, Mr. Wallen promised me (on phone call) that my boy would come back home successfully trained after the $3,000 + taxes 2-week boarding program. My dog already new 4 of the 6 commands, leaving the 2 weeks to focus on reactiveness and "OFF" . My dog got back from training and only learned to get in the car, he was not 100% obedient when they handed him to me but I was told "he is really excited to see me after two weeks...he'll be 100% obedient once we get home". When taken for "refresher evaluation" some months after trining they assigned the same remote location they haded him to me (without distractions) with a dog he was already familiar during his boarding time, thus, my dog did not show reactiveness due to the lack of distractions/triggers. At the end I was told to "face triggers to correct" and to avoid dog interaction and go the other way"...so very confusing to say the least. After communicating the issues after the training Mr. Wallen told me that its a breed issue and training is a 50/50 type of situation. SO...if you have a reactive dog, make sure to get in writing that they guarantee the training will be successful or money back or that your dog's breed has a good chance. I saw other dog testimonials on reactiveness and thought it applied to all breeds, plus the fact that he literarily told me it was a sure thing. I lost $3,000 + taxes and I am still apprehensive when taking my dog on walks. I am trying my best to use different techniques to see if something finally clicks...but like the Off leash K9 trainers said to me "hopefully with age and maturity he'll loose the reactiveness" so after they charge apparently age maturity is a factor for results. I just wanted to be able to take him on walks and hikes to spend time with him. I wish I had a great experience like the others, I am very happy for the other breeds who were successful!
