I can't recommend Michael with Off Leash K9 board and train program highly enough! I was initially hesitant about leaving Maverick for an extended period, but the results were beyond my expectations. From the moment I picked him up, I noticed a remarkable transformation in his behavior. He is more responsive to commands, calmer in various situations, and overall happier. Michael provided regular daily updates and personalized attention, ensuring Maverick’s comfort and progress throughout his stay. It's clear he genuinely care about the dogs he works with. Michael is such an amazing, caring and devoted trainer, I could not have asked for a better person to have cared for and trained my beloved furry four-legged family member. His training was clear and easy to follow. He truly went above and beyond. I would highly recommend him for anybody looking to train, their dog. Michael San Miguel worked wonders with my Maui who has aggression issues. In fact, I questioned whether Maui could be trained. While he was very loving with our immediate family, he did not trust strangers and would fight with canine siblings. The dog Michael brought back to me obeys commands, doesn’t need a leash and is so much more relaxed and confident. Michael knew my worries and texted me the big wins along the way, as well as the nightly report card. I couldn’t wait to see what daily progress he made, and I was never disappointed. Very thankful for Michael’s compassion, love for dogs and positive attitude. He made all the difference!!! And Maui’s daily smiles and happy tail wags told me he appreciated Michael, too. Best money spent. Ever!

After lengthy research & comparison I found Off Leash K9. They offer various options that cater to individual needs, time, & finances. We had an exceptional experience throughout the process with OLK9-SAT! I can't say enough about our experience with Michael San Miguel! I want to thank him and his entire family for providing a safe & loving home for Oliver's 2 week training. Michael has the heart of a teacher/trainer. I was anxious & concerned about the use of the electronic collar & then negative reports of other OLK9 locations that popped up on the internet after I had scheduled training. Michael explained his style and approach to training (based on positive reinforcement, praise & love not fear based). During our 1st meeting Michael went out of his way to insure that BOTH Oliver & I were comfortable. (I warned him that the separation would be harder on me than Oliver who had been my constant companion for the past 9 months.)I adopted Oliver, a rescued 3year old Yorkie Mix, who had problems with barking, anxiety both in in public and private settings with people, other dogs, and manners. He also struggled with separation anxiety and stubbornness. It was apparent that he had been traumatized in the past. We both were a mess.... Michael assured me that we would be in communication and I could reach out to him with any concerns. The daily photos/videos and report cards reinforced that Michael was indeed a Man of His Word! The nightly reports and comments were looked forward to and helped with my separation anxiety as well as reinforcement of Oliver's progress, happiness, and well being! From the first meeting with Michael, I knew we were in expert hands. Not only did he bring a wealth of knowledge and experience, his patience and kindness stood out. On the last day Michael spent time and patience with us at the Pearl implementing the training Oliver had learned during the past 2 weeks and also warning me that Oliver would test me once we left and he was in his home environment. All I had to do was reinforce their training. He reminded me that he would be available for any questions or reinforcement. I took Oliver home once we were comfortable and my "training began". It's been a week since Oliver came home and we have had good moment and a few that were challenging. Michael has been there with answers and concerns regarding the collar, progress, and just to listen to my sharing how proud I was of Oliver on a trip to Home Depot!!! As always the conversations during this first week were extremely helpful and reinforcing to me. I am thoroughly IMPRESSED by Michael's PROFESSIONALISM and GENUINE CARING NATURE. He went above and beyond alleviating MY fears, ensuring that both Oliver and I were comfortable and confident with our OLK9-SAT experience and training. Selecting Michael as our trainer was the BEST DECISION and INVESTMENT for us as well as gaining a friend and support system. I can't give anyone a higher recommendation.
