We had an excellent experience with Off leash K9 training. I would highly recommend Will if you need to train your dog. We did the two week board and train and the results were amazing. While our dog was not super problematic she did have issues with listening and we had a difficult time controlling her if she got excited. She would pull on the leash when we walked, bark and charge the front door at everything that passed the house and charge people and dogs when she got the chance. All of those issues are a thing of the past. I have to admit that I struggled with the E collar for some time but realize now that it is an exceptional tool if used properly. There was a learning curve. I also tested it on myself to understand what i was actually doing to her. It is not what people think it to be. I am now comfortable using it with her. It’s been about 3 weeks since she came home and she is still doing great! Please understand that your dog will only be well behaved if you put time into working with them. Training does not end with your trainer. They will give you all the tools you need and show you what to do but the long term work is up to you. It’s so worth the time. To this day Will is available if i have questions or I’m struggling. He is quick to respond and is very good with his advice and direction.. if you are on the fence about working with Off Leash don’t be. Ask for Will if you are in the Portland area and enjoy the experience.
