I didn’t even use this company because their facility ended up being too far away from us but I wanted to come and compliment them for efficiency in reaching out, transparency in how their system works, and competitive pricing. I considered 3 off leash/ecollar training franchises when choosing training for my dog (7mo mini Bernedoodle) and OffLeash K9 was my favorite because I liked their format (affordable 1 hour private sessions with homework in between), their methodology (balance of reward based and collar based training), and their vibe (I like that the company seems more dog-centered than franchisee centered). I had already visited another ecollar/ off leash training program in King of Prussia, but I felt like their “free evaluation” was much more of a sales pitch and they seemed less focused on my dog’s specific temperament and needs and more focused on closing the sale. The company I ended up going with does a combination of in-home sessions and group park sessions but they don’t also offer the positive training classes like OffLeash does, so I worry a little that the trainers will be too collar dependent and not know other strategies for engaging dogs and gamifying training. When Matt from OffLeash K9 called me, he answered all of my questions (what collar do they use, how much does it cost, which program is more effective for which outcome) sincerely and thoughtfully and I really appreciated it. Hence why I took the time to write a long review that will hopefully help other pet parents consider working with him.
Can’t thank Andrew and the team here enough for working with and helping our 10 month old German Shepherd. They made us feel comfortable and confident everyday, during the board and train, and we’ve seen such a transformation in Leo’s obedience, confidence, and overall demeanor!
Wow! We took our 6mnth old American Bulldog for the 2wk training and what can I say, Andrew was AMAZING!! This is Dougies 1st day home and he is the same happy puppy just with MANNERS, AND OBEDIENCE!! My husband and I need the training..lol I will refer any and everyone who inquires. Anastasia was assigned to be my dogs trainer. My dog is a 76 pound American bully 4 years old and he behaved so well with her! Words that I never would've thought he would understand he listened to! I did the onboard training and I get free refreshments when ever, it's a pretty good deal and my dog still has hiccups here and there but that's because we also have to put in the work as owners to keep up with training afterwards! 10/10 recommend and he was treated with so much love and care and I got pictures and videos everyday of his progress
