This was an amazing experience! CHRIS was an excellent trainer. We could tell immediately that he had a positive connection with our dog and a great energy for this type of work! His communication, videos, pictures, and availability for questions were on point. It is stressful to send your baby away for two weeks, but his reassurance and efforts made these doodle parents feel at ease and confident in our decision to board and train. Chris listened to our needs and concerns and focused his time based on our dogs needs. He was professional and personable with our turnover and took the time to ease our concerns and answer our questions! We feel confident to continue to work with our Sherman! My family and I had an unusual "emergency" situation. My husband was badly burned on Thanksgiving morning. He spent 2 weeks in the hospital getting treatment and recovery. Our dog Walker, who we adopted in April, had started to learn some good manners. However, he still had a horrible habit of jumping on his humans when he greats them. He spent several days boarding in a kennel after my husband returned home. We could not take the risk that husband got scratched or buised with his many wounds. We reached out to Off Leash K9 for help. Jessie was compassionate and understood our predicament and reached out to the trainers. Chris stepped up and offered to help us and do a 1 week Board and Train with Walker. He was wonderful with our lively hound dog! He kept us informed on his progress and set videos of Walker's training sessions. It was amazing the transformation that he did in just a week with Walker! We had so much confidence that Walker could come home and we could control his behavior and my husband could avoid further injury. At our pick up, after the weeks end, Chris did a great job of explaining how he worked with Walker and how the ecollar and remote worked. We definitely want to go back for refresher courses when life calms down. Walker got back home in time for Christmas and our family was complete. ❤️

We enrolled our 12 week old Goldendoodle in the Two Week Board and Train program. Having such a young puppy we weren’t sure what to expect. Our puppy, Sabre, only knew the sit command. One of our main concerns was him running out into the road near where we lived. After sharing what we hoped Sabre would learn with Chris King, he told us what he usually teaches the dogs and we were hopeful that Sabre would learn just half of the things! Lol! However, after two weeks with Chris, he follows the commands to sit, stay, down, place, off, heel, come, and he walks right beside us without a leash. Also, when playing off leash he will come when called, which is very important. We just cannot say enough good about how pleased we are and how amazing Chris King is as a trainer! Mike and I highly recommend you use Off Leash K9 Training and Chris, if he’s available!

Our Labrador, Koda, we loved dearly, but he was a bit of a nightmare. He was a COVID puppy and we didn't get to socialize him. He would listen to basic commands at home unless there was someone other than our family there and then he acted like he was feral. He was never mean, but just overly excited to play. Taking him to the vet or on walks became embarrassing and nearly impossible because he was near 100 lbs. Emily at Off the Leash, was a miracle worker. We can now even take him off leash at the park and he will sit and stay in place while other dogs are barking at him and kids are playing. I've even had other dog owners compliment him. Most definitely worth the time and the money!!
