Off Leash K9 Training, Northern Utah provides professional dog training in Salt Lake City & throughout the Wasatch Front. We specialize in transforming family pets into confident, well-behaved, & reliable off-leash dogs through board & train programs, private lessons, puppy development, & reactivity/aggression rehab. We don’t use obedience to suppress issues. We fix behavior first, build confidence, & teach dogs how to think and make better decisions. This creates calm, stable dogs that can enjoy freedom at home and in public , especially on the trails, mountains, & outdoor spaces Utah families love. We proudly train all breeds, ages, and temperaments. Trusted by families across SLC, Sandy, Draper, Lehi, Park City, Ogden, & Northern Utah.

Karsyn is amazing! I’ve had 4 dogs trained by her and have been able to see first-hand how she can customize the training for the pet and family. She really knows her stuff, and she is able to make adjustments on the fly with individual dogs. I had 1 of my dogs do the board-and-train with her and the daily updates were so thorough. It helped us still feel connected to our puppy while seeing how he reacted to various scenarios and techniques.

Karsyn has been such an amazing training to learn from for both myself and my puppy! During my dog’s onboarding training she stayed consistent with daily, informative check-ins and made sure my dog was put first with any other needs he required (hand fed my dog when he was nervous to eat in a new place). Since then, follow up appointments have been so enjoyable and my dog loves to work with Karsyn. This entire experience wouldn’t have been this beneficial if it wasn’t for Karsyn’s friendly help!

Karsyn did a wonderful job training my dog. Removing one star because of the difficult signup process. It took several weeks to make contact with a sales representative because they are offsite and not good at returning calls. They also emailed outdated information.

Will edit with photos later, but have to get these 5 stars in ASAP! We had our dog, Jett, in the 2-week board & train program, and it was so worth not just the $ but all the time we missed having him at home with us. Jett was always a loving, sweet boy, but he was all over the place and out of control when it came to seeing other people and other dogs, always wanting to run at full speed to them to jump all over them and try to play. He couldn't go for a walk without choking himself tugging at the leash. He couldn't go anywhere with us without constant tugging, and then if we let him off his leash he would instantly run off to any other people around, jumping on everyone. He is now a happy, calm doggy who loves walking right next to us, no leash needed at all! He approaches people and other dogs only when invited, and then he can play all he wants when he finds new friends who actually want to play. :-). We can take him to other family member's homes, to little league games, to the lake, etc.! It's a whole new life with Jett, and it is wonderful!!! Thank you, Karsyn, and thank you Off Leash K9 Training!

I have not used this service but have been trying to get ahold of them for 3 weeks. They use an answering service and I have left my name and number 4 times. I did get one call back but the number they left was again the answering service. I was really excited to try them out but so far I am striking out on speaking with anyone.
