Off Leash K9 Training, Missoula MT

I had adopted my dog from the shelter with his background unknown. Of course he is the sweetest boy ever but I needed help with leash reactivity, recall and understanding my dogs behaviors in general. Laurie was so good a sending emails to update me on all the things they were working on, and the reasoning behind it. Knowing the “why” really added confidence in myself as the owner to be able to practice and maintain the skills my dog learned with her!! I’m looking forward to follow up session and community dog walks to continue to learn from her! She has a calm presence and great humor. My dog was very comfortable with her!

Sarah was incredible with our corgi, and teaching us humans the skills we need to maintain the training in the home! Her depth of knowledge is clear, and she was immensely helpful in assisting us with managing the dog's aggression toward the cat in the house. With a baby on the way, safety and stability are priorities for us, and Sarah served those needs amazingly! We would highly recommend Sarah for folks with dogs needing more training to be safe around other animals and children in the house!

Brianna and her family were great with Stella. She learned so much in 2 weeks. Since we have had her home, Stella has shown great improvement with things that were problems before. She walks great on a leash, where she used to pull. She sits patiently on her dog bed while we eat our dinner rather than continually sneaking back to us and begging as she did before. She sits patiently and politely at the door before leaving or entering the house. We are able to capture great photos of her and her hiking buddy and cat, Agnes, because she will now sit still for pictures. She understands and executes all of the commands she learned in training and her general overall demeanor is more relaxed and calm.

Laurie has done a great job with our dog Piglet. We have had issues with Piglet being nervous/aggressive towards people in our home (primarily growling). We have been focusing on exposing Piglet to various stimuli in a busy environment - mainly working on building her confidence in uncertain scenarios. She is doing great with the training and also doing great with people coming into the home. We had a gathering yesterday with 6 people, including some that she had never met and we saw a huge improvement in her demeanor! We are very happy to see the improvements in Piglet and happy that Piglet is feeling more confident in herself. She also seems to enjoy the trainings. She used to shake and get nervous when we brought her into the training space. Now she walks in confidently and wagging her tail!
