Does a great job consistently communicating with you and giving you progress updates throughout the training. Also does a good job of making sure you are clear and comfortable on giving the commands yourself when it’s time for your dog to come home. I adopted my puppy in May after having to say goodbye to my 17 year old pup in March. I work from home so I thought it might be the perfect time to adopt a puppy. I had clearly forgotten what it was like to raise a puppy and I was at my wits end with the puppy biting and leash pulling. I decided to bring my pup to Off Leash K9 for obedience training. After two lessons with two different trainers (who were friendly and knowledgeable!) it felt like their basic obedience training package was not the right fit for my pup. Then I met Mandy for what would have been my dog’s third lesson. After an incredibly informative discussion and 5-10 minutes with my dog, Mandy was able to clarify a few commands with my dog and suggested that maybe the board and train would be more beneficial to my dog than the basic obedience plan structure. Mandy worked with my dog for a week, sending daily updates with pictures and videos, and I was amazed. I felt like I was watching a completely different dog from the videos I received. Mandy is wildly knowledgeable, compassionate, and enthusiastic, both with my dog and with me. She’s answered my numerous questions and met my worries with a vast amount of empathy. I cannot recommend Mandy enough to anyone looking for a strong base of obedience training for a puppy or someone looking to polish up their dog’s manners, of any age.

Highly recommend!! We sent our 3 year old lab/heeler and I was so nervous to do a board and train but the 2 week board and train was perfect and Mandy was hands down the best choice as our trainer!!

Mandy was great! On the front end, she listened to my questions and concerns. It was clear that she truly understands dogs and loves what she does. She sent nightly videos and feedback. On the back end she worked with me to ensure I was trained to take over and has remained available for follow-up consultation and recommendations. Highly recommend Mandy!

If there was an opportunity to give zero stars and write a review I would have done that. I rescued a pup that needed help with reactivity. I paid $1, 013 for 8 sessions. The first session was with Billy and went well. The next two sessions were with Erin and they were a COMPLETE waste of time. She spent the entire time telling me all about her lab and aussie while throwing treats across the floor for my dog. The company uses Booksy so when you sign up for sessions you have no idea which trainer you will see when you arrive. My fifth session was with Mandy, who claimed to be the head trainer. She showed up 10 minutes late. Three trainers in 5 sessions that all said different things for working with my dog. Mandy said that she wanted to be the only one to work with my dog and try to make up for the wasted sessions with the previous trainers. She also shared much negative information about a colleague that had been let go. It was beyond unprofessional. Mandy claimed that she would text that evening to set up sessions. She did not text, so I reached out to her the following day. She finally got back to me to tell me that she was busy the day before but would send dates immediately - I never heard from her again. I reached out to Carrie and was told that she would give me a refund but would need the e collar back. She set a time to meet for the collar (3 hours after our phone call) and then she never showed. She told me to "just leave it next to the tree". I couldn't believe what a complete joke this entire experience was. I contacted the company again and was told that my refund would be processed in 3 - 5 days, do I shipped the collar back via UPS. Three weeks have passed and I still don't have my money back.
