Off Leash K9 Training, Jersey Shore

Last year we brought our new Australian Shepard, Layla, to Jason and Jennifer at Off Leash K9 Training and she did very well when we got her back for the two week board and train. She went on a bunch of hikes with my wife, son and I. Unfortunately we lost her to an aggressive cancer just 4 months after she was trained at only 10 months old in February. In March we decided to get another Australian Shepard puppy and we named her Tennessee Whiskey (Whiskey), and we brought her to them because they did such a good job with Layla. We just got her back from training yesterday and so far, so good. Over the next month we will be bringing her on a number of hikes leading up to My son and I hiking up Mount Washington, NH for a fundraiser. Whiskey won't be joining us on that hike, as it is a little long for a 6 month old puppy, but she will meet us at the top of the mountain. If anyone has any behavioral issues with a dog or just wants the dog to be well trained, I highly recommend Off Leash K9 Training, Jersey Shore.

Our Havanese puppy Sophie was barking like crazy, pulling, biting, and just not behaving at all. We decided to do some research and came across Jennifer’s OLK9 Jersey Shore before and after videos, it was amazing but still wasn’t convinced just a 2 week board and train could get such amazing results. We were blown away with the results and already have a much more balanced dog and could not be more happy. Thank you Jennifer!

We adopted two beautiful huskies from a local rescue in March and knew we wanted the absolute best training to set them up for a life of safety, confidence, happiness and success. The Husky Moon and his brother Shadow posted about their fantastic experiences with Jennifer and I’m so glad they did. It’s important to note that although our dogs both came from the same rescue, they are sisters only via adoption and are VERY different animals. Our two year old suffered a life of abuse and neglect, and spent several months awaiting adoption. Our six month old was the sole survivor of her litter, was thankfully born into a loving foster home, and was adopted by us days after she was able to move from her foster care. Both came home with their own unique needs, challenges, and personalities, to say the least. Early on in the adoption there was a lot of stress and uncertainty in keeping up with all of the accidents, personality management, disrupted schedules and difficulty balancing work, family and two new dogs. When we called Jennifer she immediately put us at ease. She gave good advice straight away and helped us schedule a two week board and train for both dogs. We drove over 90 minutes to place our pups in Jennifer’s care and it was a fantastic decision to do so. Jennifer sent daily updates, pictures, videos, and insights about our dogs’ personalities and needs. Upon pickup we had the pleasure of meeting Jennifer’s beautiful family (who also helped our girls) and completed an extensive and thorough transfer session where Jennifer taught us everything we needed to know about the program and how to keep our girls growing in a healthy, loving and supportive home. Both girls clearly connected and felt safe with Jennifer and her husband- even though they see Jennifer as the headmistress of their school! Jennifer is calm, confident, insightful, patient and compassionate in her work. She opened up a year’s worth of check ins and elbow support should we need it. She’s built her business from the ground up and it is evident that she loves what she does and is an expert in her trade. Our girls are home now, and seeing them happy and comfortable but also obedient and calm is such a blessing. We are so grateful to Jennifer and her family for being our partners in securing a happy future for these two adorable pups. Thank you, thank you, thank you- Jennifer, Jay and family!!

Jennifer changed my life. I rescued a dog in February and she was so scared of the world. Eventually the fear turned into aggression towards dogs. We couldn’t leave my apartment in Philadelphia without her trying to go after another dog. Other dog trainers were telling me to lure her with food, Penn vet behaviorist told me to medicate her and that she would come back worse if I ecollar trained her. Nellie stayed with Jennifer for 3 weeks and has been completely transformed. Our walks are now peaceful. She even now plays with some dogs. We can occasionally still have some moments where she gets distracted but I know she has the trainer where I can get her focus back on me
