Off Leash K9 Training Harrisburg

We dealt with some of the worst behavior in a dog. He counter-surfed, ate the kids food, ate the garbage, ate our couches and furniture. He had nothing but rebellion in his blood. We tried a trainer and got nowhere. But I found Courtney at Off Leash K9, and she fixed our Sonny! Immediately after leaving we honestly thought he was a different dog or got a labotomy - yes, that's how well she trained him. I can now walk around my property at my side without him running off. He saw my neighbors couple days after training, and I used the ecollar and command, he tried to ignore once, but second time he turned around immediately and returned to me. If he tries to chew, command and he stops. He goes on car rides like never before. He respects your space. Sonny's good qualities are ever-present, and the old are practically gone. I am so impressed I plan to send my unruly Corgi next! Also, they have locations around the US, so if you move, chances are they have a location nearby. Price was the most reasonable I ever seen. We have a 7 month old German Shepherd harper she needed some help getting out of her shell contacted off leash ans met with Courtney top notch she explained the process with the boarding for two weeks and training program we got updates while Harper was in her care going through this process we were worried harper would lose her personality but that was not the case i recommend this program thanks again Courtney

I HIGHLY recommend Off Leash K9 Training! Our puppy is smart and very strong willed. Before she did the Board & Train program with Courtney, she knew some basic commands but would pick and choose when to listen- that was a huge problem for us with lots of small children at home and a small farm with lots of free roaming animals/poultry. After her two weeks on training with Courtney, our puppy now listens to every single command we give her! We can literally take her outside OFF leash, with our animals all around her, and she listens to us!! This training has been a game changer for her and for our whole family. We knew our puppy needed this training to reach her full potential and have her best life with us. We’ve been able to build so much trust with her and our pup is living an incredibly happy life, and my husband and I know we have one less thing to worry about! We can’t recommend Off Leash K9 Training enough! 10/10!

I took my mixed large dog to their program in Scranton. We had a fully paid program that we opted out of after 3 lessons because the trainers idea of "counter conditioning " was to approach the trigger and then when my dog reacted to High Stim (60-100) her e-collar until she stopped reacting. By the 4th time through that drill she refused to even walk. Most of my dogs behavioral issues stem from fear and lack of socialization (rescue). She did not need to learn to be afraid of one more thing. We never went back.

We have a young pit bull who can be reactive, and were very hopeful when a friend recommended Chris and this facility. Unfortunately, the communication with Courtney has been a pain point. We frequently had to text her multiple times to try to get a response about setting up training. Their website states a 100% satisfaction guarantee which was a big selling point, but at our $100 evaluation we were told there was no guarantee. In the end, we decided not to move forward with such a significant amount of money paid in full when we weren’t confident in our ability to keep connecting and having sessions. Most of their reviews are based off the 2 week board and train which seems to be their bread and butter - I think if that’s what you’re looking for, this place seems to have good results. But if you’re trying to do in person training, you won’t find the prompt communication needed to make it successful. We are back to the drawing board with $100 down the drain. Disappointing experience.
