Off-Leash K9 Training - Denver

This was the best decision and investment we have ever made. From our very first time communicating with Off Leash K9 training it was extremely professional. We were not able to come in for an orientation so Derek hopped on a video call where we chatted about our goals for our dog, our current issues and he took time to answer any questions or concerns that we had. While in the 2 week training program Derek sent us daily pictures and videos of our puppies training. Leaving your dog for two weeks is hard, but Derek made it easier by sending his daily updates and summaries about what they have been up to and how she has been doing. After her two week training period Derek set up a 2 hour session where he goes over all of the new skills your puppy has learned and takes the time to teach you how to cue your dog properly while following the same constant protocol that was used during the training. He was patient and did not rush us, he even did a second training session with my husband since he wasn’t there for pick up. He cares about the dogs and really wants to make sure their owners understand how to control their dogs, which allows them to have a successful and fun relationship! After getting our 6 month old puppy back, it feels like we are able to live our life again, rather than having to watch her every move in the house and in the back yard. Her biggest concerns with chewing, biting/nipping peoples hands and ankles and pulling on the leash. Now we are able to take her for walks without being pulled by her, and are able to have in control and on a heel even with birds and squirrels around. It is has been a night and day change in our dog and we are so grateful for all over Derek’s work he put in. We could not recommend Derek enough. We truly truly believe it was the best decision we have made!

Off Leash K9 is absolutely the best dog training anywhere! Dan worked with my dog Rocky for two weeks in the board/train program. I was so scared to leave my 6 year old German Shepherd/Husky for two weeks, but this was the best money I’ve ever spent. Dan was so good with Rocky and they developed a great relationship. Dan had a challenge with my boy, with anxiety and fear. I could not believe the positive change in just two weeks. I picked him up only 3 days ago and have been continuing the training myself. Our home life has improved drastically with his confidence built up. No more barking at everything that walks by, or trucks passing. I highly recommend Off Lease K9, and especially highly recommend Dan.

We had an incredible experience with Off-Leash K9 Training. Our 2-year-old golden retriever completed the 2-Week Board & Train program, and the transformation has been amazing. Before training, walks were a challenge, but now our dog is confident, well-behaved, and responsive in any environment. Dan went above and beyond during the "offboarding" process, introducing us to the e-collar, walking us through essential commands like sit, down, and heel, and ensuring we felt comfortable reinforcing the training. He even took us to Home Depot, where we tested the new commands in a chaotic environment. The best part for me was seeing just how happy our dog was to perform the commands and take on new challenges. The results speak for themselves. We highly recommend Off-Leash K9 Training, especially with Dan as your trainer!

Dan is an incredible dog trainer! He is patient, knowledgeable, and truly understands how to work with both dogs and their owners to create lasting behavioral improvements. He helped us build a strong foundation with Nova, giving us practical tools and techniques that made a huge difference in her training.
