Off-Leash K9 Training - Denver

We have a 1.5 year old lab mix who had been through basic training without an ecollar and knew a lot of commands, but often wouldn't listen to them and lacked the motivation to perform them, especially around distractions. We bought the 4 week obedience package and it really got our lab named Sugar to be good off leash. While working with our trainer Dan, we learned a lot about how to use the e-collar effectively and humanely, and now our dog has perfect recall even around other dogs, and can maintain a sit or down around other dogs. Dan was a pleasure to work with and really cares about dogs and knows a ton about them outside of just training them. If you are curious about e-collars, I can tell you it does not harm the dog at all, it just performs the minimum amount of e-stim necessary to communicate with your dog. This company at Denver Colorado has excellent customer service, they are very knowledgeable, understanding, compassionate, and very caring. Plus they have, in my opinion, the best dog trainer named Gustavo. I chose the boarding program that comes with lifetime refreshers. This lifetime investment is worth every penny given the amazing results I keep having with each dog I take to Gustavo. My journey with OFF LEASH K9 TRAINING began when I chose them after extensive research on the best company to train our first two huskies in Colorado. Everyone had told us that huskies can't be trained because of how stubborn they are. People would call us crazy for even owning TWO HUSKIES. Our life was a mess because we couldn't build the communication ourselves. Thank God we got Gustavo as our dog trainer to prove everyone wrong. I have built a clear communication between us and our dogs. Which has led everyone to turn around with amazement to watch our dogs have an excellent recall upon hiking. To have an extended down when going out for a coffee or to walk next to us when going to the stores. Happy with the results, once I moved to Texas I recommended my family, living in Texas with their two yorkies and a husky, this company. The results were off from what my two huskies had with Gustavo at Denver Colorado. Which led me to drive TWENTY HOURS to give Dracarys, the new member of our family, the opportunity to be trained by Gustavo at Denver. He trained Dracarys to be calm, obedient, patient and to follow all the commands diligently plus he also gave me a refresher for the husky trained with off leash in Texas. Gustavo is fluent in English, Spanish and he happens to be a dog whisper as-well. He explains how the dog thinks and acts in a very easy to understand manner. He has well-organized thinking, which has allowed me to teach my dog ​​what I want from him without any confusion. He gives you the confidence to ask questions. He is honestly a great choice for your dog. Now for Spanish speakers 😎 This company is a very good investment for a stable and happy life. When they train your dog, they return him fully trained, so you can rest assured that your dog will be ready to understand what you want from him. He will come home calm and just as loving as ever. The reason I recommend this location and this company is because of their professionalism, dedication, and excellent service. Having trained three dogs with them, I've realized how much they care about pets. They have genuine affection for each pet. I've taken three dogs to their Texas location, but it's nothing like this one. In my opinion, Gustavo is the best option for training your pet. A trainer in Guadalajara once told me that the best trainers are those who know how to train the dog well and also know how to teach the human how to guide their dog. I'm fortunate to have found a trainer who does both. I wanted to invest in the two-week training program with lifetime guidance classes known as refreshers. There are many payment options. There are also training options, with or without refreshers. It's worth the price, no doubt about it, which is why I chose the two-week program!

I had a great experience with Gustavo. I put my dog, Petey in the 2 week program and it’s amazing how well Petey is listening. Gustavo sent me photos and videos of everything he did in training. And he went above and beyond by taking us to Lowe’s to show me how to handle the new commands in a public setting. I’m super excited to keep practicing with Petey and watch him become the best boi ever! Thank you so much!!!

We left our black lab puppy with Dan and Off-Leash for two weeks while on a trip and we are thrilled with the results. Our dog now has a great foundation of training we've continued to build on and is much better behaved both at home and in more crowded environments. Dan is very friendly and professional and has continued to be an invaluable resource when we've needed guidance. I would recommend Off-Leash, and Dan specifically, to anyone looking to do well by their dog.
