Off Leash K9 Training, Chicago

We first brought pumpkin our cane corso to Off leash K9 for a puppy consultation when she was about 8weeks old. I instantly knew that Off leash would be the best place to follow through with training. At 7 months, we brought pumpkin back to the 2 week board and train with Matthew. He did such an incredible job! He did a great job teaching pumpkin how to follow commands & exposing her to distracting elements. She quickly learned - come, sit, down, break, place and heel. One of the MANY things I love is that Matthew sent us daily updates along with videos and pictures. We have noticed so many positive changes since pumpkin has came home! We highly recommend this training program to anyone that is considering. Thank you for all your help! Thank you for the hard work, time, patience and care you had for pumpkin.

Matthew did an amazing job training our Newfoundland dog Burly in the 2 week board + train program. Burly mastered heel, sit, down, come, place and off. Learning heel was a game changer for us because of Burly’s size he was difficult to walk and always pulling at anything he wanted and now he has the best heel I have ever seen!! Burly also made incredible progress with his resource guarding which was the main reason we initiated training. Burly is now able to drop any item on command and we have the tools to continue to practice this at home and strengthen his skills. Matthew did a great job exposing Burly to many distracting elements, and teaching him to follow the commands in public places where he previously did not always listen. Matthew was able to cater the program to Burly ‘s needs and Burly absolutely loved all of the one on one training time he received. On top of the great training, Matthew took great care of Burly ensuring loads of play time and exercise despite the harsh Chicago winter. Matthew also sent us daily video updates on Burly’s progress and it was very reassuring to check in on how he is doing. We highly recommend this training program to anyone that is considering it and it was completely worth the cost! Thank you for all the help!!!

My dobe and I went to the Lombard trsining location where we met Lydia. She knows alot about animal behavior and how to work it out. Through the eight week course my dobe l earned alot of very usefull practical commands. One example is the place command. On Christmas day the whole family and their dogs came to my home. Without this tr a ining my dobe would have been cococrazy excited and out of control when the family started coming in. Instead of that I gave her the plce command, the kids went by her and oetted her the other doge were jumping onto the place platform but Ruby the dobe fid not move from her place. I am so proud of her. She stayed at the place until everyone was in the house and settled in, then I gave her the break command and she ran to me just like in training. I give the credit to Lydia because she taught me how to practice training Ruby between training sessions. I highly reccomend off leash k9 trainning chicago. They are professional.

We brought our 1-year-old, Charlie, to Off Leash training for their 2-week board and train program and are so happy that we did. Lydia did an amazing job with him, he’s so well behaved and more confident now after the program. Throughout his time there, Lydia sent us thoughtful daily updates with videos / pictures of what they worked on and how he was doing. She is super empathetic and even mentioned that they switched some of their training to indoors because Charlie gets cold really easily.
