Off Leash K9 Training, Charlottesville

My dog Mac always pulled on the leash that you would have to run with him. The trainer LeeAnn Gardner did an absolute amazing job that Mac doesn’t tug or pull at the leash. He stays by my side and focuses on me during our walks. I would recommend anyone with a dog to do this training it is 1000% worth the time and money to send your fur baby to a two week boarding school. The difference before and after will surprise you! 10/10 above and beyond

This is an outstanding program that completely transformed our dog’s behavior and our ability to communicate with him. Our pet is now a joy to be with, very well behaved at home and we are very comfortable taking him out and about. I believe our dog is also much calmer and happier now, having a lot of fun & mental stimulation with ongoing training at home, and knowing what is expected of him. Our trainer Jacob was amazing, providing firm but gentle guidance and lots of love. We knew our dog felt safe and comfortable with Jacob right away. We also appreciated that our pet was being trained in a loving home environment and would be exposed to everyday household routines as well as challenging environments like visiting a crowded farmers market and busy stores. We really enjoyed receiving lots of pictures and videos during our dog’s two week training, and we saw he was clearly having a blast! On our reunion day, Jacob spent a lot of time teaching us the fundamentals of the training and answering our questions. Having access to the trainer to answer additional questions as we continue the training at home is a huge help and essential to long term success. Our dog has also loved returning to Jacob for occasional boarding while we’re out of town. We know he’s well loved and cared for, having fun, and continuing to work on his skills. The entire process with K9 has been fantastic. The initial registration was easy and efficient, the trainer was top notch, and the results speak for themselves. If you have any reservations about using an E-Collar, rest assured that it is used very gently in this program and is paired with lots of positive reinforcement, treat rewards and both verbal & body language communication. The combination is both compassionate and highly effective! This program was an excellent investment that has vastly improved our quality of life with our beloved pet. The training we continue to do at home has deepened our bond and ability to have fun together every day. We highly recommend K9!
