Off Leash K9 Training, Charlottesville

Highly recommend. Lauren was an outstanding trainer with our one year old lab and the two week board and train program. Our goals included loose and off leash walking, manners when greeting guests (not jumping, calm behavior) and recall. The communication and updates were outstanding throughout the two weeks. We felt totally comfortable with Lauren, who is excellent, professional, friendly and we knew our dog was in great hands. We received daily report cards with videos, pictures and comments which were especially helpful to prepare and educate us on how to continue the training from home. And the pick up session was thorough and very helpful. We have had our dog home now for about 10 days and it’s been an amazing and very positive transformation. Lauren is the best!

We are first time dog owners of a sweet bernedoodle puppy that we fell in love with, but quickly realized we did not have the time or capacity to put into training her as much as we would like. Annie was skittish and unsure of new environments, but Malachi went above and beyond to make her comfortable and she clearly fell in love with him by the end of their time together! We were unsure at first about if this type of training was right for her, but we can now take her more places and have her join our family on more adventures, often even off leash! We were shocked the amount of commands that she was able to follow the first time when we picked her up from Malachi. I could not recommend enough!

My five month old puppy, Nala, was getting really out of control with pulling. She also was using her mouth (and those sharp teeth) to play a little too much. I asked around on facebook about dog training in the area. A coworker recommended me to try Off Leash K9. He said they did wonders! I took the plunge and am glad I did. She is much better with commands than before. She still has that puppy stubbornness but she knows the commands well. My trainer was Malachi. He sent daily reports on Nala’s progress and I could see that she was progressing well. I could tell that she liked Malachi and that he was good to her, which gave me much comfort. I am happy that I made the decision to send her for the 2 weeks of training! I very much recommend Malachi with Off Leash Training! Thanks Malachi!
