Off Leash K9 Training Central Florida

Cassandra is the BEST! We have an almost two year old White German Shepherd who began showing signs of protective aggression around 6 months. He is our 4th GSD, so we are familiar with the breed and obedience training, but never experienced aggressive behavior, and began addressing it as soon as it became apparent. Our boy is deeply devoted to our family of 4, but all others are on his "no fly" list. His aggression progressed to the point that he reacted with intent to bite anyone who entered our home, while on walks, at the vet etc. We have spent thousands of dollars on vet visits, medication, training programs including an in home specialist that guaranteed to fix aggressive behavior. We even took Groot to a doggie behavioral specialist (not kidding). Nothing helped. We were skeptical, but decided to accept a friends very strong recommendation for Off Leash K9. You cannot imagine our disbelief when on the first session, in a PUBLIC PARK, Cassandra took the leash, walked Groot, removed his muzzle and PET him. From our sessions with Cassandra, we've learned that Groot truly is a one family dog, and we can accept that because we now have confidence in our ability to control and prevent his reactions to strangers, and he has confidence in our ability to guide him. We've all learned to accept that he isn't going to be BFFs with others, but that he must keep his opinion to himself, and he does, although he remains a work in progress. We can walk with him in the neighborhood without fear of him lashing out or biting someone. We can walk with him in a crowded park. We can allow people in our home again without crating him. Using the tools we've learned from Cassandra, we will continue working to desensitize our sweet boys protective nature, and are very grateful for this program! We will always be dog parents, and will use OLK9 training program for all pups in our future.
