Off Leash K9 Training

My Girl Penelope is a pound puppy. She was abandoned and picked up at 3 months. We got her at 4 months. At about 7 months I almost surrendered her (She bit and it was her second offense) She's alot of pup! I decided that my suggabutt deserved a chance. She went in right before covid-19 and had to be picked up at 9 days. Her trainer Jonathan had her command recall so good, we were able to maintain, that when we dropped her back off a little over 8 weeks later, she fell right back in line to learn some more. She was picked up 6 days later and has even more commands, is eager and happy to work. This training has dramatically changed our daily lives as well as hers. This girl is out here living her best life. I would reccomend this program to anyone. IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY AND I WOULD DO IT AGAIN OF NECESSARY!!

I have not finished my training package due to the Covid-19 stay-at-home measures, but look forward to our last two sessions. I began training with my high-energy boisterous 1 year old male catahoula with the hope that I would learn a lot, gain confidence in my own ability to be consistent with my dog and finally have a dog that had a good recall, listened to me, and could run off leash without me having a feeling of impending doom. My boy needs to be able to get his energy out and I knew that his long term happiness and mine depended on him being well-trained. Lets be honest...training is about teaching us humans how to train our dogs. I did have some reservations, after all, I am a big old softie and my boy was a rescue that came with some anxiety and fearfulness. I am here to say that his training was never overly harsh or heavy-handed- I wouldn't have been able to tolerate that for my dog. While Sarah was no-nonsense with him and knew what he was capable of, she never came close to the line of harshness with him that I initially feared. She knew just how much to ask of him and when he needed praise and encouragement all while explaining everything to me as we went. Thank you so much Sarah (and Eliza) you have set us well on the path of obedience. Hank and I and all of my future dogs will benefit!

Today I finished my last session of the Basic Obedience package with my American Bully Pit. She struggled with some aggressive behavioral issues with people and although we are still correcting those, she has improved beyond belief and has totally transformed. We can finally go on a high distraction walk and have confidence we can walk and interact in a presentable manner, even if she’s not ready for strangers to pet her quite yet. I would recommend this training to anyone, it is totally worth the cost! All of the trainers were very helpful and awesome!
