Off Leash K9 Training

After 56 years of marriage, raising 5 children, having 6 labrador retrievers( one being a seeing eye pup and another a therapy dog), and having 3 liters of lab puppies, we thought that having a puppy would be easy for us. NOT!!!! We were so wrong. Bruiser came into our home when he was 9 weeks old and was more challenging than we ever anticipated. He is an 85 lb. strong dog who is loving and sweet but at the same time is like a bull in a China shop. He took me down three times, breaking a couple of ribs and my husband once. We considered giving him away to another family before he seriously hurt one of us or someone else. The problem was that we really loved Bruiser a lot. We were at wits end when we heard about Jacqueline from a friend in out hometown. She also had been struggling with her pup and Jacqueline helped her a lot. We felt that this was our only hope for Bruiser. Jacqueline graciously accepted us as a client after hearing our concerns and promised us that our pup would meet all of our expectations as a family pet. After 3 weeks of training we were astonished at the transformation in Bruiser. He was a different pup who seemed to be happier. Jacqueline is passionate and extremely conscientious about her training of dogs. She genuinely wants to bring out the best in everyone's dog and seems to love a challenge. She answered all of our questions and always kept us updated through pictures, text messages, phone calls and videos. Jacqueline has become our friend and we consider her to be an angel sent from heaven. I waited six months post-training to write this review because I wanted a longer-term period of time to see results. I can say unequivocally that Jacqueline and her training was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, certainly the best with regards to my dog. We have an almost one-year old Bernadoodle named Stanley that we got in October of 2021. Stanley is our first family dog. He was a totally well-tempered, goofy puppy that was very bitey and jumpy as a puppy should be. We knew that we wanted to invest in his training b/c we plan on having him around for a LONG TIME. I say invest b/c it’s very much an investment in not just money but time. I was lucky enough to find Jacqueline through the internet believe it or not and after a massively long due-diligence period we landed on Jackie as our first choice. Once we connected (pre-training), she gave me as much time as needed to have all of my questions and concerns answered, for which she made me feel very comfortable. Let me say this- Jackie LIVES her career. That’s not a typo, she has literally built her lifestyle and home around her love for training dogs; this is not a hobby for her. The facilities that she runs, the places where the dogs live, how they travel are all specifically designed for training dogs and they’re super clean and incredibly impressive. She uses an e-collar method to train the dogs and at first. I was concerned that it may hurt my precious dog but after trying it on myself and seeing what has been accomplished over the last six months, I wouldn’t recommend another way to train a dog. I no-longer use a leash to walk Stanley, even in towns where there are other dogs, people, cars, etc. People are constantly coming up to me asking how we trained him and that they’ve never seen a dog so well behaved. He’s so well behaved that we take him to dinner with us when he’s allowed and btw, this isn’t a small dog, he’s 80lbs. That being said, we’ve also been approached by other dog owners who use e-collars and they can’t believe what Stanley can do. This is 100% attributable to Jackie and her team of dogs on staff. That’s right, she has a team of her own dogs that work during training sessions to help with distractions and socialization. She’s worth every penny. I was concerned for lots of reasons at first, mainly that we’d be handing her our precious loving puppy and getting back a robot but nothing in his personality has changed a bit- he’s the same lovable dog that we handed over to her six months ago. In fact, he’s a better version of himself b/c now he doesn’t chew on shoes, jump up on people, grab stuff off the kitchen table and ALWAYS comes to me when I call him. That was in fact by biggest fear and main reason for getting him trained. I always want him to come straight to me on the first call b/c you never know what situation could happen. I can’t say enough great things about Jacqueline. We still speak regularly post-training and she’s even helped us design a backyard kennel for Stanley. If there’s ever anything we want to work on, Jackie’s just a text away. Now I know why she was so hard to get in touch with in the beginning...she’s basically training or on client calls all the time. Rest assured that once you’re in the program you have a direct line to her and she genuinely cares about your pup AND family. She calls it like it is, no-nonsense, and that’s why Stanley and our family have been so successful. It’s true what they say about it’s as much about training the human as it is about training the dog. You need to give yourself up to her methods and trust in her and the process. It works. I can honestly say that it has transformed our household... no longer do we have stress and anxiety when it comes to Stanley. Instead of yelling and scolding, we can just love and appreciate him. He's done the hard work with Jacqueline and it has paid off tenfold.

My Lola spent three weeks with Jaqueline Zinetti in May. Lola is a year and a half old Bernedoodle. I contacted Jacqueline because I was living in chaos with Lola and my cats. Recall and jumping were also issues. Jaqueline spent over an hour on the phone with me explaining in detail what she does, getting to know me, Lola and determining if we were a good fit. She made me feel very comfortable and made sure I understood using analogies that made sense to me.During Lola's three week stay, Jaqueline sent me pictures and videos. On the day I picked Lola up, Jacqueline spent time with me first going over in detail the training and answering all of my questions and concerns. Then she "trained" me with Lola. I brought Lola home confident with the basics. Jaqueline was my life line for the days to follow. Every time I contacted her she called me back. Each time I sent her video of what was going on, she went through the video with me helping me to understand what was happening and what I needed to do. A week later I spent time with Jacqueline fine tuning my "training". Again Jacqueline made me feel comfortable and I left confident. Jacqueline is a true professional. She is compassionate, honest and passionate about what she does. She is someone I know I can trust in to be there to help me with Lola if I ever need it in the future. Lola continues to be her fun loving, goofy self but now knows how to behave when greeting people in our home. Lola can now coexist in our home with our cats. Lola has excellent recall and I can trust her to be off leash. All of this thanks to Jacqueline's exceptional training of Lola and I! As a first time dog owner, I can honestly say this was the best decision and well worth the money spent. Words can not express how thankful I am that I found Jacqueline. She is truly the BEST!

Jacqueline Zinetti is the best thing since the invention of sliced bread!!! Best of the best!!! I can not be more thankful for training / hand holding and peace of mind during entire curriculum! Jaqueline is the best trainer that we have ever worked with!! We worked with multiple dog trainers over 3 years, and Jacquline solved our problems just in 3 weeks. My dog, Gucci, a Coton Detulear had been very aggressive, and highly impossible to handle. We searched a number of places, spent a lot of money, finally came across K9. Reached out to Jaqueline, She is very responsive, understood problems, and scheduled boarding. We sent Gucci in 2020 Dec (conveniently aligning with our holiday trip), we picked him in early Jan 2021, he was a totally changed dog. After which she trained entire family over multiple sittings, taught us on how to manage him. it’s been 1.5 years, and we know how to manage Gucci and he has been doing great. Thanks Jaqueline for making our’s and Gucci’s lives better!! Even after 1.5 years, when there is a question, I reach out to her and she is very responsive and take good care of us.
