Off Leash K9 of Port St Lucie

I have a pomsky puppy and quickly became aware that I would need guidance in training her. She was a crazy little pup and very “mouthy” making me nervous about her biting in the future. Megan has taught me so much throughout this entire process and my little Pomsky has developed so much. I genuinely enjoyed the time she spent with me and the direction she gave me in my basic obedience lessons. My puppy is now fully aware of what I expect from her and I am able to communicate with her properly to sit, stay (place),lay down, and heal. We corrected her mouthing or biting habits and I cannot be happier. Megan is very straight forward in the best way, she answered every question or concern and she really knows how to read dogs. I feel fully capable of continuing to fine tune my dogs behavior and am forever grateful that I went through this experience as I feel my life as well as my dogs has been greatly improved and for me that is priceless. Look forward to returning for future lessons!

We contracted with Off Leash to work with our German Shepherd who had some reactivity issues with other dogs. Everything started out well. The trainer was responsive and the first three sessions were good. Then, as the holidays approached, sessions were cancelled, rescheduled, then cancelled again. Always some excuse. By the new year, it had been over a month since the last session. We complained and were offered extra sessions (which we never received). Then COVID hit and that was pretty much it. Our dog was supposed to have time in dog parks with other dogs and if this had been done on a TIMELY basis, our sessions would have been over long before the COVID lockdown. Once things started opening back up, we contacted Off Leash about our remaining sessions and our dissatisfaction with our trainer (cancellations/poor communication). They arranged for us to have another trainer with whom we got one session of the three remaining before he became unresponsive. Frankly, I'm disgusted with them. One should not have to constantly call and leave messages in order to get the trainer to call you back. It became obvious that once they had our money, they didn't care any more. We paid in two installments. Between the first and second installment... no problems. After the second installment, basically we had to pull teeth to get any kind of response. If I'd been smart, I would have disputed the charge and found someone else. My bad.

We are beyond happy with our experience with Off leash k9!! We just ended a 2 week Board and Train yesterday and were very impressed with the training that Megen provided our Cocker Spaniel, Bailey! We can’t say enough about the patience that she took with our Dog! She provided daily texts and videos and showed us how he was progressing in the training. She took him to different places that had many people and distractions and his transformation into a more confident and sociable Dog was so encouraging! We can now walk our Bailey in our neighborhood without him barking or pulling and no longer worry when the doorbell rings! He now has impeccable manners! We would definitely recommend Megen and Off leash K9!!!
