Obedient Paws

Our dog Chester went to the board and train for a total of 5 weeks. We were at our last option because Chester was starting to become aggressive towards me around my girlfriend and resource guard her including biting me on the arm. My trust in him was at an all time low and felt I couldn't let my guard down around him. We were too the point of rehoming talks. He is a 4-5 year old rescue pit that is very stubborn and hard headed, he listens out of compliance and not to please his owners. High anxiety that needed boundaries and ability to listen to command. Adam worked with Chester on leash control , recall and the leave it command. He helped teach us as owners how to better control Chester and ultimately lead him to success. All the trainers there showed Chester losts of love especially Patrick and worked with him extensively training him.He's still a work in progress and will forever be but he made giant leaps at Obedient Paws as well as us as owners. I continue to work with Chester daily. Walking with Chester now is a breeze as he doesn't pull anymore and will recall off leash if he escapes. And he has yet to show me any agression as I think he now understands who's his leader. And my trust in his is all time high and continuing to grow along with our relationship . I am so grateful for Obedient Paws! My dog Pacey is 5 year old, male hound dog that I adopted from an SPCA about two years ago. We had been struggling with his separation anxiety and resource guarding for a long time before my vet recommended Obedient Paws to me. I originally signed Pacey up for a two week board and train program, but he ended up being there for about four weeks because he was benefitting from it so much! The times I got to go and work with Pacey were amazing. I got to see all of his anxiety and fear chip away and be replaced by confidence. The staff really understand dogs and were great about teaching me how to understand Pacey’s behavior as well. They gave me lots of tips and advice to help us have better communication and trust. Now that Pacey is back at home, we haven’t had any issues with anxiety or aggression. Everyone comments on what a well-behaved dog he is and how much of a difference the training has made! If Pacey would talk, he would probably recommend Obedient Paws too. I have been taking him to doggie daycare since the training program ended, and every day he practically jumps out of the car window to go see his friends and get lots of pets and treats from the staff. Overall, it has been the best thing to happen to both of us!

My 8 month old golden doodle was crazy. I have been able to train every other dog I have owned. This one is “special” being very high strung and I needed help. I was recommended to use Obedient Paws. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH how fantastic they are! My dog was in the four week program and brought him home today. He is great on leash, recalls immediately with any type of distraction, leaves my chickens alone with only one correction, and I can take him and do anything like a normal well mannered dog! Adam and his team are amazing. I HIGHLY recommend having your dog be part of this business if you are having troubles.
