Obedient BLUE “School for dogs”

I signed up for the board and train program for my dog and Lyndsey did such a great job! I was out of town during the time and it was so convenient that during the time my dog was boarded she was also working with a certified trainer. The intensive personalized training was super helpful as Lyndsey also taught me how to administer commands and use consistent language so my dog did not get confused when she returned home.

We had the pleasure of doing Obedient Blue’s 12 week program with Lyndsey and cannot speak more highly of her and the program. Upon arrival you’ll quickly see how much she cares for dogs and that it being the reason for OB’s very existence. Then as you progress through the program you’ll be eased from overthinking every approach you’ve read or seen while also learning from her deep knowledge and coaching. Admittedly, you will have homework. She’s not going to solve your training 1 hour per week but it pays off. My parents have Harper’s 2 siblings and I can confidently say her enrollment in the program has put her leaps and bounds beyond her siblings. She is now trained on most all commands you can think and walks trails daily with me off leash. In summary, she cares, trust the process. Our quality of life now is proof. Thanks Lyndsey!

There really are no words to describe how wonderful the experience of working with Lindsey is. We adopted Indy from a local shelter and quickly realized we had an energetic and intelligent young pup on our hands. After doing some research, I chose Obedient BLUE. The first meeting with Lindsey set the tone perfectly. She was attentive and informative, answering my questions and learning both about Indy and myself. Her observations were astute, and we quickly set the plan for individual training sessions. Lindsey's approach arguably spent more time training me than the dog. She sees her clients as a team striving to work together. She helped me to understand the timing and flow of training, which then translated to excellent results with Indy. As my confidence grew, his confidence in me grew. Lindsey carefully helped me respond to the underlying anxiety I had, and I became a better pet owner because of it. There is no doubt Lindsey knows exactly what she is doing. Her training approach is balanced and caring, stemming from a deep-seated love of every animal that crosses her path. She wants nothing more than to keep dogs in good homes, and her training methods are exemplary. It has been wonderful learning from her. The skills I gained from our sessions together will stay with me, not just with Indy, but with any other dog I might have for the rest of my life.
