If there is such a thing as a ‘dog whisper’ Paul Hormann is that person. Paul is a great person to work with. Unlike other trainers he listened to us and adapted the training to our unique needs as owners as much as the dog’s. We have a 45 week old GSP which is as head strong, brilliant, manipulative, and hunt focused as the breed is noted for. We spent hours a day training him since week 8 with the help of other trainers and programs. But he still jumped on people, pulled on leash, darted off after small game, and decided he would be our pack leader. We may have set the ground work with our own training but we just couldn’t get to the next level no matter how many trainers, books, or YouTube videos we invested in. On the first visit Paul sat with us for an hour and then he had the kind of immediate success with the dog that blew our minds. Paul also trained us to elicit better behavior with word, action, and attitude. We are grateful we found Paul and our dog probably is too. He is worth all the hype declared by the other testimonials and worth every penny if you have any doubt.

Excellent dog trainer! We recently got a new puppy and wanted to house train her. He came to our house and spent a few hours teaching us how to train her. In one week, she was going on her weewee pad, knew the sit, come and walk command and is doing so well. I couldn’t be happier. Don’t let the price scare you. It is so worth it for your piece of mind. How you start off will dictate the rest of your life with your dog. Start out right!

I'm glad I called Paul Hormann to consult with on training my 2 Golden Retriever puppies. We have 2 pups (brothers) together from the same litter and needed a little guidance. Look no further! This is the guy you want. The dog whisperer of the Hudson Valley! Based on Google reviews, I called Paul when our 3-year-old dog's constant barking had brought us to the brink of insanity. He also had regressed to having "accidents" around the house. It has now been 3 weeks, including a week away, and since the moment Paul walked into our house for the first time, our dog's barking has reduced 90%, and no more accidents. He sits, stays, and comes when called. No more jumping all over people. I could not believe it would happen this fast and be this simple. Paul will give you a few simple rules to follow that easily fit into any busy schedule. When he leaves, your dog will be happy knowing his/her place in the pack hierarchy.
