I really enjoy his resourcefulness and ability to find the right tool for the right dog.
Also, he is very familiar with methods that often don’t work but are taught by mainstream dog trainers. Therefore he is great at addressing the myths and correcting broken belief systems.
We took our 5 year old German shepherd and pit mutt for a 2 day reactivity workshop. I got to see how quickly reactive and insecure dogs can change to grounded, happy, and still companions.
I also got to see how my neighbors puppy matured to a disciplined dog with superb recall which I rarely see in small terriers like that.
Dog training is not just about dog. So Matt is also training owners how to understand and communicate with their dogs. He is a true relationship coach for dogs and their owners.

Our crazy hound mix was such a handful before Matt got a chance to work with her. Now she's like a new dog. There will still be things to work on, but we're so impressed with the changes that we see already.

Best decision we made! Koda was our 3rd golden retriever and he was becoming a major handful! Night and day difference after our board and train for puppies!. Matt and staff have be so supportive after bringing Koda home. We have also used daycare service and it has been awesome!
