Is there a way to train a dog not to attack other dogs or cats cause I want to bring my dog inside but she attacks other dogs and cats

Hi MaKolein, yes we can help. At 7 months most pups have learned to relieve themselves outside. , I have found that it does take a little more than just trying to show him where he's supposed to relieve himself at this age. Also, at 7 months they're past the puppy stage of nipping and biting so I would say it's time to evaluate your puppies biting and come up with a plan to change that behavior.

This is definitely the best dog training I've ever been to! My dog is a rescue, and he was rather reactive within his first year, and I didn't know where to even start to deal with it. However, my friend recommended this place, and it was so great!
Shanti and the team are so patient and understanding with both dogs and owners (especially with triggers and traumas), and even when the courses aren't in session, they're still available for questions and concerns, which I really appreciate, given my hectic schedule.
If you have a rescue, or a reactive doggo, this is the place to go!

Great team! All training uses positive reinforcement. It's nice that they train them for both verbal commands and hand commands. My dog went deaf last year and I'm still able to communicate with her via the hand commands.

We adopted a young dog (2+ yrs) and found there were some instilled behaviors that weren't good for our family with young kids (jumping, excessive barking, receiving treats with bared teeth). We sought out Shanti and her training and within weeks realize that WE were the ones being trained on how to handle a pet. But, it worked so well that we were recommending her to friends and eventually were speaking the same language about our pets. This is a great place and program.

I am updating my review of 2 years ago: My now almost 5 year old Havanese (and my daughter's 5 year old Havanese) have continued going to Shanthi's since they were pups. They go at least once a week, because they love Shanthi so much, and enjoy their time at school. She continues to work with them on their tricks and they have passed the AKC Advanced Tricks. Shanthi is SO good with all the dogs and I can't recommend her facility highly enough.

I have a 2 year old Havanese, as does my daughter. We have been taking them to Shanthi for the past 7 or so months. They LOVE going to school there, and have from the first day we went. Pinto didn't want to leave, but wanted to show me everything in the classroom. They pull on their leashes to get to Shanthi in the mornings.
They tend not to like day care settings with lots of dog, so this is perfect for them - usually about 8 dogs total, and the best part is that Shanthi does all sorts of learning games with them. They come home stimulated, but also tired!
Can't say enough good things about Shanthi, Amanda (the other teacher) and the school.
