Now and Zen Dog Training

We were worried about some challenging behaviors from our 16-week-old rescue puppy, and our vet recommended Nan. Nan came to our home and thoroughly assessed the concerns, then asked us how to elicit the behaviors. She repeatedly demonstrated in a clear and kind manner how to address the issues across our 2.5 hour session. Not only did Nan show us multiple effective techniques, she explained why Little Boo was behaving as she was, giving context to the problem behaviors and showing us direct and flexible solutions. We are much clearer about how to move forward with Boo thanks to Nan! (This morning, as I sat in the kitchen while Little Boo was lying in her crate, I played back a video on my phone of Nan demonstrating technique with Boo. When Little Boo heard Nan call her name -via my IPhone- she ran from her crate over to my chair, sitting and looking at me attentively.)

Stellar! Nan has magic. She came to my home recently because I'm agoraphobic and I had problems with my enormous Great Pyranees puppy's behavior with people, and my Pomeranian was becoming mean. In one three-hour session, she gave me all the tools I needed to have my dogs and me understand each other, and she taught them some real commands, too, to sit and to come to me. My dogs loved her and actually had fun learning. Nan is SUPER brilliant, kind, calming, comforting, and VERY EFFECTIVE. I wouldn't recommend ANYONE else. She's the best.

Nan is a true professional, in every way. She answered my emails promptly. She called me when she said she would, and she was on time for our training session. In addition, and even more importantly, she knows and understands dogs so well. In our 2 hour session, she fine-tuned some commands our 4 year old dog already knew, and helped trouble shoot how to handle some of his less than desirable habits. We have already enjoyed having our pup interact with us more inside and unwatched, and we have a better understanding of his needs and how to meet them. We recommend 100%!
