Now and Zen Dog Training

Nan has a special way with dogs. She immediately impressed us with her obvious care and love for our pups. Her knowledge is vast and she offered customized solutions for every unique issue we faced. But, beyond that, she immediately bonded with our dogs and showed us how we could relate to them in a healthy and kind way, even when we were dealing with behavioral issues. We adopted two young puppies from a local shelter over a year ago. It was an emotional decision, not well thought out! And we found ourselves overwhelmed almost immediately. If not for Nan, we might not have made it through. Now, our dogs are happy, healthy, reasonably well behaved members of the family and that is due to Nan's patience, kindness, and expertise!

I called Nan when I was having trouble with my corgi guarding/managing doorways. It has been extremely difficult to manage with two other dogs in the house. I’ve never used a trainer before and could have not had a better first experience! Nan is truly a positive trainer, which seems hard to find nowadays, and was extremely helpful with our situation. She was great to communicate with, listened to all of our concerns, and gave us an easy management plan to use going forward. She helped us BEYOND what I initially contacted her for. I will undoubtedly use her for future training needs. Thanks, Nan!

We were amazed at how quickly Nan had our Frankie paying attention to her and eagerly obeying her directions. Nan is an experienced expert at assessing an individual dog’s behaviors, and presenting simple to understand solutions that change bad behaviors into good behaviors. Her one on one training is so to the point, we learned enough to move forward on our own, but know Nan is there for more consultation if needed.
