FirstBarkIt's really hard to find a good doggie daycare that will actually supervise your dog and help correct bad behaviors. I took my puppy for pup daycare and I was able to watch my puppy play, be corrected, and have her explain everything. I'm really happy with the lady that runs this facility! You can trust your dog in her care!

About Notre Dog Academy
At Notre Dog Academy, your furry friends will engage in mutual and healthy interactions with other dogs. They will not be allowed to practice any inappropriate behaviors, and will receive twice-daily private training with a CPDT-KA certified dog training instructor. You can rest easy (or work hard) knowing that your dog is not only going to be tired at the end of the day, but they are also working their brain in a way that will help generalize only acceptable behaviors. Notre Dog Academy only accepts 5 dogs per day for this exclusive program and all reservations must be placed in advance.

What is your favorite dog breed?
Thanks for asking, Keith! My personal favorite breed of dog is an English Shepherd, but that doesn't mean I recommend them for everyone! I do love helping people find the right breed or dog for them and their lifestyle! If you mean for working with as a trainer, my favorite "breed" is problematic teenagers. Dogs between 6 months and 2 years old are the most likely group to lose their homes. This is primarily because of behavior issues and formal training is the number one solution to this! Teenagers are difficult in any species! I love these cases because I can make the biggest difference in the shortest amount of time. With just a few correctly implemented changes, clients go from desperate to empowered!

Fantastic training for our little Husky child from an amazing trainer! Stephanie is wonderful and as a family of two veterinarians, we wouldn’t want to take our little fur child anywhere else :)

Our LSGD (livestock guard dog) Chester came with baggage at a year and a half years old. His sheer size and energy alone would be enough to be a challenge, but add in his distrust and natural protective tendency of the breed (great pyreneese mareamma mix) and it’s a lot to work on with training. We’ve only had two sessions so far, but I’ve seen a big difference in Chester already, and love the positive rewards based training methods. It’s a lot for me to learn, but I’d much rather take the time than try more dominant aggressive training styles. I so appreciate Stephanie’s patience and knowledge and we’re looking forward to getting him into day school!

Stephanie has been working with our reactive adolescent pup for the last month (twice/week day school plus a couple of private sessions). She really knows her stuff! She works hard all day with the dogs...it's spendy but I definitely feel like we're getting our money's worth. I love checking in on the webcam, and getting notes/pictures after every day. She's also been very available to answer questions as they come up. I honestly don't know if we would survive adolescence without Stephanie. Highly recommend!
