We are incredibly grateful for Kathy and her amazing work. Our service dog has truly been life-changing — saving our son countless times at restaurants that claim to serve “gluten-free” food. The dog can even detect cross-contamination when manufacturers use shared equipment. Based on our own testing at home, our dog can identify gluten levels as low as 2 parts per million (ppm) while the industry standard is 10ppm. You should see the chefs’ reactions when we explain that they’re essentially being challenged by a dog who can detect gluten in the dish they just prepared — it’s always an interesting moment 😊 We completed the online training with Kathy and also traveled to several in-person workshops. Every experience has been outstanding. Everyone involved is knowledgeable, supportive, and truly passionate about what they do — and Kathy, in particular, has a rare gift for training these dogs. We are beyond thankful for her work and highly recommend her to anyone considering a gluten detection service dog.

Saved my life, basically. I could not even eat safely at home, my reaction to gluten is so severe and I am so very sensitive. My dog Rocco found gluten in places I never ever would've suspected (including Rx medicine). I've gone months and months now without even the slightest gluten exposure. Even just talking to Kathy about things I suspected made me sick -- before I ever became a client -- was reassuring because nobody knows more than she does about the places gluten can hide (meanwhile my doctors and even a registered dietician who specializes in food sensitivities thought I was crazy!).

I gave Nosey Dog my Welsh Corgi Sandy for several weeks of obedience training (which is not something NDDP normally does, but they made an exception for me). Sandy came back a changed dog and I did not see any of the same behavioral issues as before. Sandy was also happy when I picked her up, well looked after, and well taken care of during her time at NDDP's facility. The fees were also very reasonable for the extensive assistance I received from Nosey Dog. I would recommend Nosey Dog's services to anyone seeking a service dog or other dog training assistance.
