NOSE TO THE GRIND

Ryan is great with dogs. Very knowledgeable in training and understanding both dogs and the owners. We have used him for years to train our Irish Setters and have really enjoyed them much better. We have also used him to board our dogs while out of town. The dogs enjoy going out there and enjoying seeing Ryan and his dogs again. We are trying to encourage our son to take his dog out to Ryan some day!

Ryan trained our dog Sasha for about four months. She was destructive, aggressive, and unpredictable. We were unsure what to do or where to turn. Thankfully I stumbled across Nose to the Grind on Google and decided to go in for a consultation. Ryan immediately exceeded our expectations! Following her intensive board in training our dog has been completely transformed. Now, she is well behaved and disciplined dog.

I absolutely love working with Nose To The Grind. I knew when I met Ryan that he knows dogs- very knowledgeable and experienced. Took my (then) 2 year old bully to him to work on her dog reactivity and anxiety. It made a world of difference. He taught us how to help calm her down to work through her drive. Has follow up classes to refresh skills and to train US as owners to really know how to best work and communicate with our pups. Have another dog in the program now and it’s so comforting that we can check in via text anytime for updates. Will definitely be bringing all future pups to him. Can’t thank him enough for all that he’s done for us!

Nose to the Grind Alaska changed our lives. I adopted my sweet girl Kodak, a Aussie/Heeler mix, at 8 months old and from day one it was clear that she was a fearful and reactive dog. Just taking her for a walk was the most stressful part of our day. If she heard another dog miles away she would have a melt down and would be inconsoleable. She had a hard time letting strangers near her and had really big feelings about men in particular. Kodak would snap and lunge at dogs that came too close. She was unsocialized and afraid of every noise, every movement, every person, and every dog. After 3 months at home with me, I knew I needed professional help. Making the decision to sign her up for the board and train was incredibly difficult. The thought of not being able to see my best friend for 14 weeks was absolutely heart breaking but I knew if I made the investment when she was young, she would have a good chance of having an easier life with less fear. I just wanted my girl to be able to function, go outside, and be a dog. I didn't know what to expect when I picked her up. The work that Ryan did with her is incredible. She went from a fearful and anxious pup to a dog that is geniunely happy. Kodak is able to work through her big feelings. With joy she is able to greet strangers and have play dates with other dogs. She has turned out better than I ever could have hoped or dreamed. She still has her days where it's difficult to walk by a dog or biker, but with hard work we are able to push through and carry on and the frequency of her reactivity diminishes every day. Nose to the Grind is worth every penny. It's worth every second away. It's worth the investment. I can't thank Ryan enough for what he has done to make our lives a lot more manageable. I have the best dog in the world thanks to Ryan and his work.
