About Northwoods Training Kennel LLC
NTK offers British Labrador puppies, started dogs, and monthly training for obedience, shed hunting, game recovery (tracking), upland and waterfowl training. We often raise and train puppies from our litters into started dogs in the areas you are most interested in. This builds you a great hunting companion and gives us an opportunity to see how our breeding turn out first hand.

I have a yellow lab. He is 2 1/2 years old . I'm sure by now hes too old to hunt but would still like to get him to be more Obedient and gentle. Is he pas his training years?
No he's not. We offer different programs. Sounds like you need some obedience to start. Just email us through our website and we can get your dog enrolled.

Carli did an amazing job training Benny for shed hunting and blood tracking! I am beyond satisfied! She was very helpful and informative on all my questions prior to purchasing Benny from Northwoods Training Kennel. She allowed me to stop by with my 2 1/2 year old daughter to do a meet and greet with Benny to be sure the interaction between the two of them was positive before I made a decision (my daughter wanted to take him home that day). Carli has definitely exceeded my expectations with Benny and I am very happy that I went with Carli and Northwoods Training Kennel. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for this type of training. 5 STARS!
I have trained dogs for over 40 years. My experience includes training Service and Hearing dogs, hunting, competitive obedience and Nose Work. I can not tell you how impressed I am with the experiences Carli gave the puppies before going to their new homes. Sage is not only showing great potential in Nose Work, she's been a fabulous addition to our family.

My husband and I would like to share our experience of getting a dog from Carli and Northwoods Kennel. Carli had our puppy (Baliey) well trained to retrieve and get in and out of a boat. Bailey would sit when I came to a stop while walking. No tugging on the leash. She is the kindest dog anyone has ever met. My husband takes Bailey pheasant hunting with great success despite his lack of accuracy. She does a great job of retrieving birds. We are considering getting another dog from Carli.
If I could give 0 stars I would. After $2,800 and 3 months of training, our dog couldn’t even hold a bumper or sit/stay, and now shuts down after a bumper or duck is brought into sight. I’d train my next dog myself (not the slightest clue how to train dogs) before I’d send another to her.
