I contacted NCA over a year ago as a last ditch effort, after I was frustrated and tired of our dog, Watson, snapping at myself and others for seemingly no reason. I spent a while on the phone with Amber, as she asked me to walk her through a few of the scenarios in which he has bitten and/or snapped at any person or animal. It was in that moment I knew I could trust NCA with my dog. Every single trainor I contacted before NCA just gave me a quote and that was it. They did not ask for any information about what was going on and just seemed like they wanted the money and I'd be another number. We spent the money and invested in our dog, hoping for the best possible outcome knowing that there was a chance he'd still snap at me on occasion or that he'd be better but not to where we needed him to be. When we brought Watson home for the first time after 5 weeks, he was a whole different dog. He was more calm, he didn't try to go after dogs on our walk, and in over a year and a half he has yet to snap or even growl at any person or animal. We have had to keep up with his training, but I am so grateful to NCA for training him and teaching us how to keep up with that training. We have a whole new dog. Let this be your sign to invest in your dog. Spend the money. With NCA it's worth it.

The best decision I’ve made for my new rescue Lester! ❤️🐾 I adopted Lester a few weeks ago and had him start the Elite Complete program at Northshore Canine Academy right away — and I couldn’t be happier with that decision! The trainers have been absolutely amazing with him. They immediately picked up on Lester’s fun, “firecracker” personality and have done a fantastic job channeling his energy into focus, manners, and confidence. In just a short time, I’ve already seen such a positive change — he’s learning quickly, listening better, and still keeping his happy, goofy spirit. They keep me informed of his progress which I love. Everyone at Northshore is professional, kind, and truly passionate about what they do. They take the time to explain each step, share progress updates, and make sure both dog and owner are set up for success. I’m happy Lester is definitely starting his new life on the right paw, and I can’t thank the team enough for helping him become the best boy on the block! My parents sent our two dogs to Northshore Canine and honestly, I wasn’t expecting much. Billie Jean is still a puppy and Daisy was already a good listener, but WOW it actually worked. Billie Jean used to be a total handful, and now she actually listens. It’s kind of shocking how much she’s changed. Daisy was already good, but she came back confident and chill. You can really tell the trainers know what they’re doing because they got these dogs acting right.
