Northern Air Retrievers

Highly recommend Brandon at Northern Air Retrievers for training your retriever! We sent our chocolate lab puppy to Brandon at six months old for the Basic Gundog Program and five months later we were very pleased with her progress. Brandon laid a solid obedience foundation so that she came out with a reliable recall and all the basic commands like sit, here, heel, place, etc. Brandon also took her through the force fetch process, e-collar training, exposure to real birds, loud sounds, and land/water retrieving. Along the way he was great about sending pictures and videos each week updating us on her progress, which we really appreciated. After we took her home, Brandon has continued to be a great resource for us and he’s always happy to answer training questions and provide guidance. At a year old, she is now working on her UKC Started title with two successful passes so far, and more to come!

Brandon has went above and beyond top help me as a "Beginner" In the world of gun dogs. You can always tell when people are passionate about what they do, and Northern air and Brandon are no exception. He has spent months with my dog Rhett and the difference is night and day. He knows Gun dogs plain and simple. Weather you want a obedient duck dog, or a dog that competes in AKC or HRC hunt tests, Northern Air will help you and your pup with your goals. I cannot recommend Brandon and Taylor enough, I will continue to be a repeat client in the future.

Brandon is always extremely supportive for any questions at any step of the process. He was very flexible in getting one of my dogs in to be force fetched when I was starting to have some problems on my own. He was extremely patient and did a great job working through a tough subject, constantly updating me on what he was seeing, what he wanted to see, and got he was going to get there. Now she's well on her way to being my great hunting companion. Can't recommend him and his services enough!
