North Star K9 Training

North Star K9 training exceeded my expectations. My King Charles Spaniel, Maisy, was having difficulty with barking in our backyard when other dogs passed and during walks in the neighborhood and parks. Morgan, Maisy’s trainer, did an exceptional job understanding Maisy’s anxiety towards other dogs, and worked with her to calm and help her work through these issues. Maisy attended the 2 week Adventure camp and afterwards, Morgan did a great job educating me ( which probably was the hardest part) on how to implement the training tools she taught Maisy. Post follow up training was also helpful. During Maisy’s time with Morgan, she sent daily pictures and updates on what they were working on. Walking Maisy is now much more enjoyable. Thank you for taking such good care of my fur baby.

In October we adopted a pup from a local shelter. At the time of adoption, Hank, was about six months of age. Close to a month after adopting Hank it was clear he had many undesirable behaviors. Some behaviors included jumping on our children and knocking them over, nipping, counter surfing, destroying anything he could get his mouth on, escaping, the list goes on. His behaviors were creating a stressful environment at home. When we sent him off to training we knew if he didn’t come back with some big changes we would have to find another home for Hank. Hank went to Adventure Camp with Morgan and thankfully he came back a new pup! It is truly amazing how much progress Hank made in two weeks. One of my kids was scared of Hank before training and now she enjoys his company. It’s been wonderful to see the kids enjoy their dog instead of fearing him or seeing him as a pain. They come home from school now and can’t wait to see their dog. He’s part of the family now!! We are able to take him places and hang out at home with our pup. We wanted a family dog and now we have one! We have also learned so much from Morgan! I was worried about him coming home but the transition went smoothly thanks to her knowledge and support. This was the best experience!!! Kaylee was amazing and treated Wyatt like he was her own which made me feel very comfortable leaving him with her for a couple of weeks of training. The amount of pictures she sent and video's made me feel like I was right there with them. Wyatt learned so much and he is so well behaved now.I highly recommend North Star K9 Training and Kaylee and Kami!!! This will be an experience for your pup that you will not forget. AMAZING!!!!!
